I want to buy an oyster perpetual 39mm but the bracelet is too tight for my wrist, I know other Rolex models have some kind of quick adjustment mechanism, but I’m not sure about the op, someone help me please!

The new Oyster Perpetual has the quick set adjustment. Released last week. But its 41 mm now.

As another person mentioned, the new OPs have EasyLink, giving you 5mm of adjustment. With that said, there are also three micro-adjustments within the clasp you can adjust with a tool.

Tbf to Tag Heuer, their QC is so much better these days. Ever since Jean Claude Biver stepped in, the brand took things up a level. If you look at the finish across the Carrera Heuer01, Heuer 02's and 2017 Autavia, they are very up scale !

Great video, as usual. One small historical correction: the bombing campaign of Britain was called “the blitz”. Blitzkreig was a type of warfare involving coordination of armour, infantry and air power. Mostly associated with German tactics early in WWII.

Agree! I owned a 39mm Red Grape OP and while it was a nice watch, it loses some of its class in the larger size. It's all dial so it wears bigger than the measurements suggest. A 36mm OP or Datejust is perfect when it comes to Rolex sizing. I now have a blue "3,6,9" OP 36 that will go to my daughter as I wore it for her birth.

For the longest time the Rhodium dial OP39 was my grail. I purchased the watch and absolutely loved it's elegant, but simple look. It was also a pleasure to wear...vs. the majority of my 41-45 mm divers. Eventually the dial color fell out of favor as it's only in a darker environment does the deep Rhodium shine. Outside in the SoCal sun the dial is much more lighter and loses it's richness. I let it go and purchased the DJ 41 smooth/jubilee in blue. I enjoyed my time with the OP and it's a beautiful watch.

That IWC Spitfire in ceramic is a limited edition I believe. The current ceramic alternative is the Top Gun version which I could bear if it didn't actually say Top Gun on the dial

I guess because for the last few years the trend gravitated towards larger watches so everyone is already slightly biased towards bigger cases, hence why the slightly larger 40mm watches are absolute king right now. But thats just speculation

I personally think the ideal size for a non-dive watch is between 34 and 36 mm. Dress watches can be smaller- 31 for a circular watch, 25ish for a tank.nicw video, either way.

39-40 mm is definitely the best size for most. You have to take into account lug to lug also because it plays a major role on how to watch wears on the wrist. There are 36 mm Rolexes like the Oyster Perpetual that wears more like a 38-39mm just because of the lug to lug dimensions.

That Spitfire is an unusual looking watch. Not sure I have ever seen one before in what looks like a ceramic case. Looks a lot like the Top Gun model but it clearly states Spitfire on the dial. Anyone know the model number?
