If Feyenoord wins the last three matches, they will end on 84 points in 34 matches. Normally speaking you will be champions with that amount.

Compliments to being spot on with Arne Slot's history and recent work he has done, details were spot on from the guy in the grey shirt. Good research. The thing i personaly dont like about ( mostly ) English analyst's and KZbinr's is not being able to realize what he has done with AZ and Feyenoord is actually really really really good. I mean it in the sense of saying that reaching the Conference League final is not really impressive '' because that is not wat Liverpool is aiming for ''. I mean comparing a team ( Feyenoord ) with mostly loan players or players worth around 1 to 10 mil at the time, to a team ( Liverpool ) that can affort players like Mo and Van Dijk. He well overperformed with every team he worked with, while having '' bad '' material. Now imagine what he can do with good material. Plus it is a good thing imo that Liverpool went for a '' new '' coach and didn't hold on to the usual suspects coach's wise. I am sure as long as the players will respect Arne and his vision, with Van Dijk being the translator and captain in the dressing room and on the field, then this is going to be a great fit. Arne's english is good, he can handle dutch press so the english press wont be problem, no crazy behaviors like Van Gaal at the side-line because he only cares about football and football only. I am sad to see him leave my club and hope he wont take Hancko, Geertruida or/and Wieffer with him, but i am really stoked to see what he is going to do at Liverpool and hope he will give Dutch coaches a good name again.

Bowen turns 28 in December and signed a 7 year contract extension the summer. And knowing West Ham they are wanting £60m, minimum. If I did my research right, the number of players older than 27 who have cost £60m or more from the last decade in order of most expensive: Griezmann, Hazard, Kane, Higuain, Suarez, Casemiro and Zlatan. And Bowen is nowhere close to the talent of these guys. If he flops, you are stuck with him. For that price, he has to be young or a world-class player. Plus, he has quite a bit of mileage on those bow (en) legs.

Klopp had a cl final under his belt and beat a juggernaut bayern to league who won multiple years in a row and after he left proceeded to win alot . Klopps CV on paper was alot more impressive

If Liverpool could get £100m for Salah they should take it rather than lose him for nothing. Johan Bakayoko, Rayan Aït-Nouri as Salah and Tsinkias replacements with someone who knows slot and in the last year of their contract Lutsharel Geertruida also would be a good move and you could get them all for the Salah sale. Other deadwood like Phillips, Tsimikas and then free transfers in Matip and Thaigo save so mich money on the books aswell and would free up some cash for a true 6 like a Zubimendi.

Really excited about what Slot will do at Liverpool. I think he backs himself enough that taking over from Klopp won't faze him, and it looks like he has all the characteristics Liverpool needs in a manager/first-team coach to keep on challenging, although I wouldn't expect much beyond a top 4 finish in his first season at Anfield

Minor correction: when Feyenoord won the League in 2017, Giovanni van Bronckhorst was the head coach. Dick Advocaat assisted him at the beginning of his Feyenoord career. Advocaat was also Feyenoord's last head coach before Arne Slot

Great chat. Subscribed. Bowen is a good shout. His xG-P in a defensive team is very high. But West Ham are going to want £80 M. Liverpool are not spending that for a 27 yo. Liverpool have a promising 19 yo for a DM so I'm not sure they would go Wharton. But definitely need a plug and play to DM replacement for Endo. His duel stats are horrific. Doucoure is very one-footed for the £70 M they asked last year. Hjulmand and Varela in Portugal may be better value.

if salah goes i don’t think we’d sign a right winger cus the options aren’t worth the money or risk. I can see us playing elliott and szobozslai on that right side of midfield and they can just interchange in games. There’s also trent at right back so i can see a system where the 3 of them just rotate completely cus szobozslai has looked good defensively and is rapid so he could drop into right back for trent to push higher and wider to get a cross in to nunez and gakpo with height in the box

Dougie read his Wikipedia, had a look on the Analyst, and tried to pass it off like he'd actually watched a lot of Feyenoord. His style of football is a massive departure from Klopp, Amorim's style of football is much more similar. Only silly people think formations dictate how a team plays.

People over hyping Slot. Not only have Feyenoord slid backwards this season but his personality isn't right for Liverpool. He lost his focus at az alkmaar and got sacked as he was desperate to leave for Feyenoord. Klopp would never have treated Dortmund or Liverpool like that. I don't like him saying he wants the Liverpool job either, nothing is signed off, disrespectful to us and his current club. Also hearing he isn't very emotional, after Klopp that will be fatal.
