In 2023 I destroyed my business by growing too fast. We doubled the company in 9 months - and it all started crashing down... over the next 10 months the business was in a tailspin. We wound up bottoming out below where we started in the beginning of 2023. Easily the most stressful year in business I've ever had. But - man, did we learn some lessons. This video is right on for so many reasons. In my case, our growth outpaced our ability to bring on quality people... and then we had no systems... and then I made a bunch of other mistakes. I'm sincerely hoping someone watches this video and takes heed!

I'm starting a home daycare to address our financial struggles, but I'm aware of potential growth challenges, like managing increased capacity, staffing, and regulations. How can I prepare for these obstacles?

I don't really blame people who panic. Lack of information can be a big hurdle. I've been making more than $100k passively by just investing through an advisor, and I don't have to do much work.. Inflation or no inflation, my finances remain secure. So I really don't blame people who panic.
