Another couple of tips, a good diet makes a huge difference. Northern breeds require a little more attention to diet for a healthy coat, whether you are doing anything from kibble to a raw diet, including a good portion of fish(whitefish, cod, ect.) makes all the difference. We foster and have huskies with terrible coat conditions go from shedding excessively from stress and malnourishment with extremely coarse coats to fluffy soft coats with just some stability and diet. This takes time, though, you won't see the difference in a matter of days, it will take months. Additionally northern breeds don't take well to having detergents constantly used on their coats, so constant bathing is not a good idea as it can dry out their skin and coat, removing the natural oils that keep their skin healthy and keep them from itching. This really applies to basically all northern breeds with double coats. Hope this helps someone out there. Happy days with your canine friends.

As much as I love a good vacuum ad, and as an owner of a Samoyed. Just like a husky but quadruple the furry fun. I hate to be a nitpicker here but when you were talking about getting in to corners and hard to reach places while vacuuming on the hardwood...ummmm....you missed a tuft of fur on the wall. 🤣. I died laughing. Other than that obvious missed furry situation, it does a good job at picking up the tumble weeds. I like my Shark though.

Believe it or not we use VO5 blue w/ conditioner. Works gr8. We don't have a flea problem so I don't use flea shampoo. Just regular people shampoo. But that's just me

@@HuskyAndTwoKittyCats its better to use something formulated for a dogs skin and fur to keep them moisturized and skin healthy and fur soft and beautiful. Unfortunately people shampoo doesn't have the correct ph for a dogs skin an can/will irritate and be to harsh on the skin. Please don't use people shampoo on your husky, go to the pet store and purchase something for dogs. Thank you

Hi there! We use Burt's Bees Dog shampoo. However, as long as it is a dog shampoo, it should be good. Something I am going to start using is the conditioner as well. I'm not sure why we never used it in the past. I am also going to get some spray conditioner to use between baths to spray when dry grooming. Good luck with your huskyroonie! ❤

And the worst fabric by far is denier. That comes on most bags or backpacks. I cringe when people set their bag down and Atlas comes over to sniff it. Holy cow it might as well be velcro. Speaking of velcro, how often do you have to clean your velcro items? And do waste money on a lint roller or do you get one of those lint brushes with the one way fabric? I prefer the brushes.

My Aurora - a White Husky - sheds so so so much hair. I brush her outside when she sheds. All the bird’s nest within eyesight of my yard have white fluff incorporated into them… 🙄🙄🙄
