Thank you so much for making this video easy to understand! I'm a 50+ woman who doesn't have anyone helping me learn how to fish. I've been fishing for 5 years now and am doing pretty well and am now catching 7 and 8 pound large mouth bass but I only know how to use weedless worms. Now I'm trying to venture out into drop shot, but a lot of the videos are so complicated to understand sooooo Thanks to you I finally understand it!!! Wish me luck. 👍

Man, I’m so glad the last poster corrected himself, fishing is the only sport that truly has one type of person, and that is an ANGLER, it’s the only sport that truly is blind to gender, race, creed or political party affiliations. Your an inspiration to me due to your knowledge and skills. Thank you for your informative videos and I would love to start learning the best way to set my gear for drop shot fishing as far as gear set up. Thanks man! 🎣

@adiii4107 Жыл бұрын
@@pgm1970 everything my friend, large mouths will eat a wacky rigged senko, smallies too, smallies and perch will eat a nose hooked small swim bait, pretty much anything

Hey Brian, thanks for making such informative videos. I fish from shore most of the time and in my kayak when it’s warm, and I like fishing the Potomac River around four mile run.
@zubertish5 жыл бұрын
Great stuff! Tip: when nose hooking soft plastics.... screw in and counter sink a bait keeper before running the hook through the nose. One can also add a tiny drop of Gel super glue to the keeper as one is screwing it into place. Additionally, if the bait is a Z-Man bait, pierce the bait with the hook where you are going to screw in the baitkeeper. It's like pre drilling...makes adding baitkeepers a lot easier on Z-Man baits. I got these tips from Tacticalbassin. Would be great to see you guys fish together...congrats on the huge FLW win!

Planning on trying this drop shot this weekend. I fish from a kayak on several ponds/small lakes that have grass bottoms and I think this would be the perfect way to suspend my baits just above the grass. Love the video.

Hi Brian - greetings from south Devon in the U.K. I'm switching tactics and going to focus on the dropshot: saltwater fishing mainly for Sea Bass, Wrasse and Pollack. I've found your videos helpful and enterytaining - thank you. I'm prompted to post as whenever you show footage of hooking into a fish on your boat, I'm not looking at your rod or the water - I'm looking at your feet with amazement - as you jump about and somehow manage not to tread on all your rods! Maybe you pro anglers earn so much that you don't mind breaking a few now and again! ;-)
