Hey Brian - awesome tips, I feel like I've watched most of your videos in just the last couple weeks. One thing I'd like to see more of is you showing us how to actually fish the rigs you're showing us. You show how to rig it up and what combos to use and then I get out on the water and realize I'm missing something

I hated drop shoting for a long time but this year I decided to learn this technique better. I have landed so many fish this year drop shoting even in severe conditions. It has slowly become my favorite technique because I can catch fish in horrible conditions. I use roboworms but the yamamoto shad shape worms have been doing work also. im going to try the Zman stuff and see if I go through less baits.

Trd also works well if you cut it at an angle about 1/8” from the end. It leaves you with two baits that have an undulating action when you nose hook them

I've lost more shakers on a size 2 than anything. Once I went to a true size 1 or 1/0 my hook up ratio went through the roof. Another thing I don't like is lack of barb on most finesse hooks.

Great information & video, I love finesse fishing with light lines and sharp thin wire hooks. I started fishing slider worms in Maryland on 4 & 6lb lines, didn't know about fluorocarbon leader in the 80's? But still caught a bunch of bass in the C&O and the Potomac River! Funny thing is? It was my wife that bought the 3 pack of slider worms with one 1/8 oz lead head and the Charlie Brewer paper back book! And I would be gone for hours & hours fishing with my dog Rudy! She seemed to be happier with me and the dog not hanging in the Apartment all the time! Hmm? Oh I learned a great way of fishing before wacky, drop shoting or ned fishing! Diana & the Supreme's could put it down, the Temps were better! James Brown was the undisputed KING of the steps and John Mellencamp could lay it down! Not bad for a white boy! CMTFU! Watch you fish the tour in Florida? People were all over you but you were the only one catching fish! Drop shoting into the burls and pulling bass out on! I thought you were gonna win the tournament! It was an exciting watch! Cloud 9 You can be what you wanna be (cloud nine) You ain't got no responsibility (cloud nine) Every man in his mind is free (cloud nine) You're a million miles from reality (cloud nine) You can be what you wanna be
