From one brutha to another, holla atcha! Why I love your content ... not the boss opening with the 2x pickup trucks, one with stacked yaks, not the dual bass boats in the tackle shop custom garage, no no no ... I have much respect because for all your success, sponsors and available tools and tackle, you’re tying knots and cutting line with a tried and true 6” needle nose pliers. And from the looks of it, just a tad worn cutting that #12 braid. JUST LIKE ME! no fancy braid cutting scissors or hi-tech titanium snips. Just good ol’ pliers. I mean this with all sincerity, thank you Brian for keeping it real! ✊🏾

Maaaaan. You're incredibly fortunate to have all those baits and gear in your garage. Not saying you haven't worked for them I'm sure you have worked extremely hard for them. I'm sure you remember the days of fishing with the bear essentials. That's just about where I'm at right now still working on acquiring a good amount of soft plastics. Hopefully one day I can have a setup like yours. A man can dream right?

Hey Brian do you use a sampose swivel because I find that to Illuminate the line twist sometimes I use braid straight to the top of the swivel and then floor carbon after or sometimes I make a 7 foot long floral carbon leader and then add my swivel in what do you think about that

Which sick stick spinning rod are you using. You mention taper fast something. I’m trying to buy the rod, I have already purchased the reel.
@Jon-nz3dm4 жыл бұрын
I started to just buy dropshot weights that don't have the silly clip in system. Just a regular line tie on top of the weight. People act like you'd rather lose your weight than the whole rig but that's ridiculous since tungsten is the most expensive part. And I've found that I almost never break off the whole rig anyways since the weight will still break if gets caught in something, but it will usually pop out unlike with the line clip system where the weight just pulls off super easily.
