@@Rudeboydior They’re talking about a Roku device that’s plugged INTO a TV, not a Roku-brand TV. If the issue you were having is on a Roku TV, then just unplug the TV without thinking something has to be left on.

This is bug nuts! The first suggestion worked. Just leave your TV on, unplug its power cable, wait 30 seconds, then plug power cable back into the wall/ power source. Thanks guys!

I found my issue and it took some work to fix. The problem is, even with a AVR and TV that are 4K compliant the ROKU box wouldn't connect and stay connected. So in 'settings' and 'display' you need to switch the roku display setting to 1080p. To do this is a bit tricky and it won't display on the tv if it's set to any of the 4k settings. So I could get it to show for just a second or two when I used the input control and switch the input on my Yamaha from a HDMI input not used by the roku box to back again. Then when the roku menu would show for that brief moment move to that 1080p setting. It will take you numerous times doing this depending on how long it stays viewable on the screen. The goal is to get the roku box to display in 1080 mode only, not any of the 4k modes. Hope this makes sense.

I have a DVD player that works on my Roku with the RCA adapter but I bought the RCA to HDMI cable so I could use one of those inputs and return the adapter to our sound bar and the TV says there's no signal. I have not been able to fix this problem. HELP!

Every time i turn on tv and roku the tv says no signal. To get it to work every time i have to unplug abd replug the power om the roku or unplug and replug the hdmi. I have changed power sources, i have changed cables, i have tried different ports and it keeps happening. Any tips for this?

Yeah your tv ports are most likely broken like mine the only way to fix the problem is have someone come out and repair the tv the only way that is possible is if you have a warranty if not you are out of luck and need a new tv

When I plug Roku straight to the TV no problem but when I plug TV and Roku yo receiver useing HDMI cable I get no video. My input ports are out for TV and if I use 3 port for Roku I set the receiver at 3. Not sure what's up.

If I switch input on TV when I go back to Roku it has to be reset every time with Roku Premiere when old roku express+ never did that. I shouldn't have to physically reset device every time it is allowed to go to sleep or idle should I ?
