i had that exact pump fail on me after a hill pull with only a year on it. car has a walbro now.

Man .. that sux bro ... hope ya can get it sorted ... maybe a bottle lucas ring sealer and injector cleaner run throu might help ... but if it s.oming as bad as you say it is .. there could be a issue with the pcv not close and alow oil to go into intake or rings , but if comp was good , that would be an anomaly, but not that it is impossible... maybe a sticking valve .. idk brotha , just some ideas , i rebuilt mine from ground up and bored it 30k over and forged pistons and rods , so i would not run into issues with a used engine (that and i run around 30psi throu a 4849g turbo so it has giant ring gap now to and lowered comp ).. but on a time crunch , i just hope ya can get it sorted and if ya have to after MATG , then rebuild or swap it ... peace and love my miata brethren , keep it rad , stay safe , and build on..l8r guys and hope all will work out for ya 🤘🏽🤙🏽💪🏽🏎🔥✌🏽

@@mastercricket7626 yep, those are all things I’m considering! We just swapped the head which you will see in the next video and ordered a brand new oem PCV. The rings sealer is definitely something I’m considering as well.

@@mastercricket7626 and I will be rebuilding the motor I just pulled out after MATG. Would love to bore it out and go for forged internals. Definitely not trusting an unknown used engine again.

I know what it is, but it will take time , so I weighting till after MATG and just gonna have to settle for 27psi on gate foe now .... keep at it brotha and miata will reward you lol 😆 na but hope all get sorted soon fam .. peace and love l8z
