The “blood is thicker than water” quote is actually “the blood of the convent is thicker than the water of the womb” meaning the family you choose is more valuable than the one you happened to be born into. Ibz has always been the realest fucking studytuber out here. I have been watching studytuber since year 11 and now here I am almost done with my law degree omgggg. And my faves aren't studying anymore aww. But I'm so proud of youuuuu!!!! I've been a fan of your content for the longest time cos you just tell it how it is, especially being a minority and not having the pristine upper middle class background all the other studytuber had. It's people like you who truly inspire me cos sometimes life truly is shit and people try so hard to make something of themselves despite that, and for others it's not really the same.

I am out of academia now, and i moved on way past the common lifestyle that had me seek you out, but oyu are my window to how it is in britain culturally. I trust you more than most ppl talking about the cultural environment, as I grew up in a pretty bad area and just left the country. you made me feel like i want to move back, you satiated my homesickness for the longest time. Whatever you choose to do, just know that i love your gossip over uni culture, and the hope you give me as a brown brit who was fed up and left.
