Dr. Alexis, you are so amazingly YOU! A big, bright , genuine, and love-producing angel! Okay, been natural, no chemicals for nearly five years---my hair is growing lengthwise , BUT it's thinning! I have never had thin hair! As some of your other subscribers may be guilty of---I've been 'creeping and peeping' in your Loc Community----inquired about certain things, but have never taken the loc leap! As I lean in close to take that first step to the loc life--I'm requesting to see more content featuring your Mommy. She is a true inspiration---I'm amazed! Has she shared the finger-wave story with you? That was the style craze in the '90's and as a know-it-all big sis, I convinced her I could do it. And do it I did---used a whole jar of gel on her head and not one, single, solitary wave was produced---actually, I should say: None of the waves survived. I'll stay tuned in.....

I got about six locs that the new growth grow outside my loc making them thin when I don’t have a retwist . When they are twisted the past is back to normal . What do I do with them ? I could see if my locs were large I would leave them alone but I have like 149 locs they are kinda skinny. I’m two years in and I feel they will pop off as my hair gets longer

Great question! Try having a loctician combine those locs or use an instant loc tool to add some of that hair back in!
