A comparison between the 7.4 and the 7.8 would be great! Interested in seeing if price difference is worth it

Great informative video. I'm in between the Horizon 7.8 AT and the Sole F89. Which do you all recommend?
@ednajok.82326 ай бұрын
I really need decent cushioning. Would you say this is helpful in that regard? On a scale of 1-10 least to most cushion with NordicTrack probably being the most cushion (right?) Where would you rate this one?
@TreadmillReviewGuru6 ай бұрын
Yep, NordicTrack has the most, so if NordicTrack is a 10, I would say the Horizon 7.8 AT is a 7 or 8, it's not as cushioned as the NordicTrack X32i and X22i treadmills (which are the most cushioned that we've tested) or the NordicTrack 1750 and 2450, but it has nice cushioning that's helpful for your joints.

@@TreadmillReviewGuruid gladly pay more for the NT and was basicslly sold on the x22i until i read the reviews of the companies reliability issues and problems with warranty. I still cant decide! This review is so helpful though!

Hi! If you were choosing between this treadmill and the matrix T75, which would you choose? Tech & screen aren’t important, we’re mostly looking for sturdiness for long term fast walking and cushioning for knees and back pain. Thank you 😊
@TreadmillReviewGuru3 ай бұрын
If you're wanting a more cushioned deck and aren't concerned about the screen, I would go with the Horizon 7.8 AT. It has softer cushioning than the T75 and we've had our model for years and it still performs really well.

Beware! I bought a Horizon 7.4 at treadmill but it constantly shocks me, even when touching the plastic part of it. I was told to buy a humidifier, not to wear nylon, etc. My old Nordictrack or old Profrom never did that. To return I have to pay for shipping…it’s crazy…why wasn’t that mentioned!

Between this and the 7.4 it seems like 7.4 is a better option when it comes to price point or am I missing something? 7.8 just seems like it comes with a larger screen, 25lbs more in user weight capacity and aluminum side rails and extra accessory tray
@TreadmillReviewGuru16 күн бұрын
The biggest benefit to the 7.8 AT is the stronger motor and higher weight capacity, in my opinion. It's better than the 7.4 AT for high mileage. If you don't need that, then the 7.4 AT is the better deal.

Hi, I'm enjoying my Horizon too, but want to start programming my own custom programs. I can find the custom setting and program in time incline and speed for segments, but I simply cant work out how to then save the program I've made to use again later. I want to program my own interval aets. Can anyone tell me what I'm missing?🤔

I am currently on the fence between the Horizon 7.8 and the Sole F85. When you say that the 7.8 adjusts quickly, (19 seconds from 1 to 12 mph) how does that compare to the Sole?
@TreadmillReviewGuru9 ай бұрын
Both machines are great! Horizon has some of the fastest speed adjustments of any treadmill on the market which makes them great for HIIT training. Compared to the Sole F85, the Sole F85 takes about 41 seconds to go from 1-12 mph which doesn't make it a great fit for quick intervals. Both treadmills are great but Sole is just a bit slower at the speed adjustments. Let us know if you have any other questions, thanks!

Super timely video! I’m also deciding between the 7.8 and Sole F85. The one thing that is enticing about the F85 is the ability to decline. I really wonder if the decline feature is worth losing out on the faster speed transitions the 7.8 has.
@joannemarkov9 ай бұрын
@@deetee2730 I've had the same thought. Especially since the transition won't be from 1 to 12, but more like 5 to 8, so the total time difference won't be as huge.
@TreadmillReviewGuru9 ай бұрын
@@joannemarkov @deetee2730 You're right, the F85 adjusts a little more quickly between speeds that are closer together. I think if you want to do downhill training, the F85 is the way to go. It is definitely still a treadmill that you can do intervals on. If you know you won't use the decline and just want to do interval training then I would go with the 7.8 AT. Let us know if you guys have any more questions!
@deetee27309 ай бұрын
@@joannemarkov Agreed. The decline feature will be nice. Only other call out is price. The F85 is $400-$500 more and since the tech/larger screen isn’t a huge selling point for me, it’s starting to feel as though that’s the premium I’ll be paying to get the decline function.

For someone that is under 150lbs, running about 30 miles a week on a treadmill training for a marathon, would you recommend the 7.8 or 7.4?
@TreadmillReviewGuru9 ай бұрын
We have only used the 7.8, so I can only speak to our experience using that treadmill for the past 3 years. The 7.8 can handle that well. The 7.4 has a lot of similarities to the 7.8, so it should handle that kind of use just fine, too. Both motors are designed to handle that kind of training.

@@TreadmillReviewGuru thanks! Yeah, I was unsure if the higher weight capacity and motor size would materially change things for me.

Just purchased and while quiet at walking speed once running the treadmill has a little more noise like the belt or a cushion feature is maybe misaligned. We called the place where we purchased from and they said it’s because the belt hasn’t fully molded to the rollers and that with use it will get better. Does this sound right?

Can someone that owns this model tell me if it will fit through a door once folded up? I know the width is 37" but I'm trying to figure out how wide it would be folded and looking at it from the side. Thanks.
@Its_nylecojАй бұрын
Hi! We recently bought this model from someone on FB marketplace and it did not fit through the door way we had to disassemble the top wide part then with it folded get it out and once we got home assembled the top part back on. It’s two screws on each side and you can disconnect a wire and connect it back once on. Hope that helps
