Sophia this video made me so happy that I’m not the only person that purchased Skin So Soft to use as a bug repellent and ditched it. Sometimes you don’t realize that you need to declutter something the first time around.

When you get a chance, read Shari Frankie’s book. One of the things she talks about is her mother turning the home into a film studio. Changing the aesthetic of the home for the camera. Not letting anyone add personal touches etc. it’s only a small part of the book, but it shows how authentic real people live in homes not showcases.

It is funny but I have to be in the right mindset to declutter. That way I make better decisions. I totally get why you felt exhausted after this one. You had done so much decluttering up until that point. I am enjoying this series Sophia.

I have the same shampoo, lotion, toothpaste and hairstyling product for years and years. I like them and I am not curious enough to buy other stuff to try. And to lazy to get rid of them when I don't like it to use them. I am not a minimalist, but my bathroom definitily is. 😅 The only room in my house. And I totally understand that you are so tired and bored of all the decluttering you're doing. Four hours is a long time. I could hear it in your voice that you was completely done with it. I wish I lived close to you so I could pick up the Skin so soft. I am 83 and use it to keep the gnats away while working in the yard. The gnats are bad here in Nash county , NC. Yes, it works, but you must keep re-applying it after you sweat or wipe your face. I am enjoying your videos. Thank you.

I empty all lotions etc down toilet before recycling them. My toilets smell great😅

No house is perfect. Like humans, they are imperfect. It’s important to share your ideas and spaces bc someone has the same type issues and spaces and seek ideas and inspiration. I can only say, after the roof replacement, we better watch out bc I fully expect you’ll renovate this bathroom with the same intensity and fabulous ideas as you did your office. Bring it on, Sophia!!

Great advice at the beginning to encourage other people. I would like to make videos my our son is private and has paranoid tendencies and thoughts about so many things. Also I have no idea how to edit. I do not have a clue how to do that. I look forward to watching you and other declutter and clean and organize. It does bring me joy.

You are realizing that if a product/item is disliked, dispose of it at that point. There is no reason to return it to storage. What is the chance that you will completely change your mind later? I think it is mostly about not wanting to waste the money spent, but decluttering it in the future does not save the money anyway.

Do not trow a way the Skin so Soft, put it with your painting stuff, it is the best thing to remove paint from clothes, I have even removed paint stains ,that were dried , from clothes. oh yes also oil paint.
