I really like this tiny detail w tempbot! Its revealed on ep 1 that there's actually multiple tempbots who all share the same memories, kinda like symbiotes, so its very neat!

I have a theory as to why LIS took an extra two years to come out after they partnered with Netflix 1. Each network or streaming service has their own standards as to what they're ok with, so perhaps some things had to be edited or cut out to meet the network's expectations 2. The first three episodes of LIS are a sort of retconned, condensed, and retold version of the KZbin series which were most likely tacked on at the last second. This is evident by Cardamom's VA having a deeper teenage voice in the first few episodes, but then going back to having his original childish voice in the rest of the series, meaning the first three episodes were made well after the initial voice recordings for LIS, to the point where the VA aged up to a teenager Most likely, Netflix didn't want to host the original KZbin series due to licensing issues, the fact the the show is already free here, or wanting the art style to stay consistent for the whole show. From here, instead of remaking the ENTIRE thing, the production team rushed to make episodes 1-3, which lead to parts of the story being changed entirely and consequently the already completed LIS series had to be changed here and there to fit the new story. Why did they change the story? Perhaps the team wanted to take the story in a different direction than originally planned, or Netflix ordered the team to make the story different from the KZbin series I still recommend watching the Netflix series, but be warned that it may feel off and disorienting at first

I almost lost my mind when Bee and Puppycat was hosted on a website I couldn't access in Canada before it got released on youtube. I sort of forgot I'd backed this show and was feeling like it was pretty much done for... the announcement was such a big surprise. I can't wait for the new season! edit: oh wow nvm it's out now hah now I gotta finish all my schoolwork before I can watch any 😅

NETFLIX RUINED THE FIRST SEASON. Thank you :) Rewatch it on KZbin lol, it's not bad, but it isn't good. I'd recommend watching it once to enjoy the new edition but... eh, it's like they dumbed it down and changed everything, uploaded season 2, which I've seen before Netflix, and none of it can make since because they changed all the interractions from the original first season. Love you Bee and Puppycat, love you Frederator, hate you Netflix.

@@viviankong69 Having a new edit of old episodes isn't bad, but what it seems like they did was squeeze season 1 into like three episodes, then just play the season 2, unedited or changed. Since the wedding scene with Puppycat and sticky never happened, a scene later in season 2 doesn't make sense. They skipped the video game world, didn't bother changing her gender or explaining Puppycat's amazing high level. It just seems... flawed unlike the original and much left to decussion.

I really really adore the original online version of being puppy cat. The Netflix version was just disappointing. It did not live up to my expectations. In fact, it’s basically just a reboot of the original Webseries and the original web series was way better.

I wanted to like the original of this show, but the original animation specifically, to put it lightly, looked disgusting. More Rick and Morty. I love the Netflix adaptation. The animation is consistent and beautiful (you can still see gross parts from the original team, but it is much less severe) the colors are almost like a psychedelic trip. It makes it easy to fall asleep and have great dreams.
