Hey Julia I absolutely love it when you do these budget eating for the week just goes to show how to creative in the kitchen. I'm from Australia 🇦🇺 and $30 AUD is $27.40 CAD,so not much of a difference between countries.

Not much difference at all! I always said if I wanted to move some where but not give up many luxuries that I’ve become accustomed to in Canada + have my dollars stay the same, I’d go to Australia lol! Much love 💛

Do what’s best for your body and if that means eating some meat, that is okay! I always encourage people to find someone that hunts and or purchase free range, organic farmed meat from your local butcher! Much love and healing energy!💛

Loved your video... I am a vegan and coeliac and have IBS. I can’t have beans or lentils... and our rolled oats in Australia aren’t gluten free at all. I am always struggling with what I can and can’t eat... I watch videos like yours and wish I could eat most of the foods you enjoy. My IBS stops me from eating a lot of yummy vegetables and fruits too. Sad but hey we have to look after ourselves too.

Thank you for sharing this budget friendly recipe. Budgeting better with my groceries has been heavy on my mind with all the rising prices. This kind of video is so helpful for me and I am sure many others right now. I try to budget best I can but I know I can always learn more. I make cooking videos too so you know I’m making lots of food so every penny I can save on groceries counts. I hope that we can continue to learn from each other. Never stop learning and growing!

If you are considering a new sheet pan, I highly recommend the pampered chef jelly roll pan. I like it better than a regular sheet pan because it has a raised edge all the way around. The pan “seasons” over time. A light spray of oil and nothing sticks. It is my favourite pan to roast veggies. It is heavy and expensive but worth the investment (plus you can write it off on your taxes)!

Love how transparent you are. Not just about the underwear but your sensitivity towards what's going on in your country. P.s. I also get the underwear comment too... why is it so hard just to buy a new pack? 🤦♀️🤷♀️

i've always been curious - when you take your own containers to bulk stores, how does that work out as far as weighing the stuff for price at the end? especially with jars, which are heavy!
@ourtubesocks2 жыл бұрын
The first time you go, you can go up to the cashier and have them weigh your empty jars and write this number on the bottom of them with a permanent pen. Then fill them up and the cashier will extract the weight of the jars. If you’re careful to not scrub it off the weight, your jar is all ready for the next time.

ok but buying an entire jar of peanut butter or a packet of dry beans isn't wasteful. it'll last you wayyy longer. there's no rush to finish shelf stable food in a week. with fresh fruit and veg getting the amount you'll actually eat is super helpful though
@elizabethheld31302 жыл бұрын
Sure but sometimes you have a budget and can’t afford to buy the big thing of peanut butter even if it is shelf stable because of the up front cost
@simplyshama2 жыл бұрын
@@elizabethheld3130 the cost per use is ultimately cheaper when you buy in bulk. in a month you'll end up spending more by buying smaller quantities
