Congratulations on coming up with recipes that involve more than just tipping in jars and packets of pre-prepared commercial foods. I was looking for recipes that mostly go back to the basic ingredients which, in my opinion, is healthier. Some of your recipes will be keepers for me, thank you.

I'm a newby to the slow cooker. Thank you so much for the recipes and timings. Some of them look delicious. I am a pensioner and live on my own so your recipes will encourage me to make lots of lovely tasty food in bulk and then freeze some of them. Quite a few that I know how to cook long hand and am going to start with those. I've just been shopping for the stuff. To all of those who complain..... Get a life. Appreciate those who share their expertise. You don't have to watch the whole video and if you actually look carefully, there is a list just under the the "Tasty Recipe" logo showing for example 0.00 Intro, 1.10 Slow cook BBQ ribs etc. For those who want see the name of the food, you can scroll along the play bar.

Ignore the naysayers. Some people watch too much chef cooking videos on youtube and think it is okay to put down others using modern equipments that does not fit their culinary standard. I come from a family of good cooks and I see nothing wrong using this to cook some tender meats

I hope you're enjoying your slow cooker. I use mine at least once a week. I wanted to mention a channel you might enjoy because she makes desserts and meals for two, so you'll only have a little leftover instead of maybe too much. She's easy to follow and she's got a lot of recipes. Her brownies for two are amazing. Leigh Anne Wilkes is the name of the channel.

Could not get over how many things you can cook in a crock pot w/o a large broth in it. I saw the creamed corn, but i thought you were going to make a Chicken corn chowder with it, like the Chunky Soup brand does. I will use the basis of what you showed to make my chowder. The other meals looked yummy, and I adored your music. 😮😮

I had to turn the music off completely.it’s very frantic! Lots of people don’t like the music that has to go with everything these days, and if you turn off the music it’s dull. I’d love to hear the cooking sounds. I actually have a neurological condition which means I get dizzy, nauseous and confused when I watch a programme or video with music playing in the background. It’s very painful! But the simple sounds of cooking and bubbling stews is gorgeous. Great recipes by the way.

after cooking, how long do you have to wait to put it in the refrigerator - stupid question i know - if i cook it when i get home, it gets ready in the middle of the night - so then i don't know whether to put it in the refrigerator right away while it is hot- or leave it out til morning and cool -
@cynrok2 жыл бұрын
I would suggest not cooking it after you come home. Either do it in the morning before you leave or do it on a weekend. It should only sit for maybe an hour without refrigeration, Unless you keep it on warm all night when it's done
@aydensgranna2 жыл бұрын
@@cynrok thx!

Never put hot food in the fridge, as it will heat up the fridge, so other foods will go bad faster.. Always let the food cool down (some even put warm food in a glass container and then put it in a bowl with cold water or ice water to help speed up the process of cooling down the food). Usually people use slowcookers in the morning, so that when they come home they have a meal. But if you want to do it at night; some slowcookers have a 'keep warm option'. I know people make oats in there overnight, so they have breakfast in the morning
