Curious on your take on the 30DN 38cc upgrade engine ? I thot u might have done a speedometer test like this video, surely the 38cc takes off a little quicker ? Nit sure if it’s just me but ur blue one seems to jump better like land and nit nose dive into ground Cheers Jake u made me say screw it im getting one and been considering the new engine a while I thunk u just done that too 🤙 2smokers for life 🤙🤙

Thanks very much! Yeah it ran ever so well straight out of the box, believe it or not there was no tuning involved. All I did was reduce the idle by 1/4 of a full turn. Then ripped it up and had a great deal of fun! :)

Jake Billing . . . . lol. I got Baja buggy from RCmodels about 4 years ago. it's great. And the guys at the shop/phone are really helpful. I wanted to go up to the X2 this year after saving for it. only to find out it's discontinued 😔 Then I thought of the Rovan LT320! I'm not surrounding of they going to get that in stock again😞 This 30°North. ... I'm not sure if it's going to be the same. any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

hi m8 How u getting on with 30 degree north motor ? ive had a real sh't experience with my 30cc yama bollox bullsh;t Baja i bought of nitrotek (arseholz) i got it brand new at end of Jan this year. to date ive not even used 4 tanks of fuel. I bought a fivers worth of fuel and theres still a reasonable bunch in the plastic tank. It appears that the clutch bell housings ( all fkin 3) are designed to break !! oh and the chuffin muffler is supposed to let mucky oily residue out of it. not to mention the 2 suspention springs that have failed in exactly the same place (tossers) Yeh if could let me know of your experience as i want to buy onme of the 30DN buggys.....they look friggin awsome Anyway hope you can get back and happy motoring brother......Peace Out Ian

Nice run Jake half the price of a 5t and just as much fun,you could upgrade motor fit some bling and still not spend 1399 which is what a losi 5t costs,if you going to run it a lot I would fit alloy diff case all round

He got me to buy it few years back still have it, still stock but I’ve been eyeing up the 30DN 38cc engine, I’m close to pulling the trigger on the engine, this is when having bought the super bee kill switch that unplugs is a bonus no soldering etc it just plug n play obv need to unplug off the old engine and onto new one then the cable plugs right back in. Being honest here the 29cc engine surprised the heck out of me being honest, take off etc KZbin videos don’t do it justice but find a good bashing spot and ur adrenaline will b flowing guarantee it, but I put shel vpower in with the best oil the stuff rcmax owner runs these engines r prob made to run low octane like u get in America.

Ah also Jake... is there anything you can do to increase the speed on one of these. as you said for such a heavy motor 38 mph aint to bad brother considering the losi 5ive 2.0 says 40mph on the box and well under half the price....... i would imagine the buggy version being lighter may go bit faster, but im as good as sold on the truck. and RCmodelz the go to place to buy. there customer service must be better than the tossers at nitrotk. all the best pal

Next time man soak it in simple green, scrub and wash it off and also apply WD-40 to electronics and bearings prior to wetting it as it is a water dispersant. Last but not least hit it with a blower to completely dry it and add some final lubrication to the bearings 👍🏻

You’d be surprised at how loud my arrma notorious is at full throttle. But yes most townships won’t even let you drive these. In my area they are against bilaws
