great video bud. i sub. it sounds to me that its running a bit hot or could be that is running a bit lean and causing it to run hot. i did notice that your pull start is clogged with grass and that does not help with temps. i would suggest getting some outwears for it. and i also would strongly suggest to oil your air filter as it looks dry and dust could be getting in and clogging the carb and also getting inside the engine.

I run mine at a dedicated track for 1/8 and 1/5 scale I’m lucky it’s local to me it’s great fun to race with other people,I wouldn’t run it anywhere else because of the noise it would attract the killjoys and the local thieves

hi m8 How u getting on with 30 degree north motor ? ive had a real sh't experience with my 30cc yama bollox bullsh;t Baja i bought of nitrotek (arseholz) i got it brand new at end of Jan this year. to date ive not even used 4 tanks of fuel. I bought a fivers worth of fuel and theres still a reasonable bunch in the plastic tank. It appears that the clutch bell housings ( all fkin 3) are designed to break !! oh and the chuffin muffler is supposed to let mucky oily residue out of it. not to mention the 2 suspention springs that have failed in exactly the same place (tossers) On a lighter note.... im considering buying the 30 degree north 1/5 buggy... looks awsome and was just interested about your valued experience with 30 DN vehicles.. Talking of vehicles we used to have a Mark 7, 5 door in limestone Grey, spoke to a geezer called George from burger motorsports and opted for a JB3 and eventually the upgraded JB4..........plug and play.. piece of piss to fit and Dino'd at 353 engine horses up from 296 stock... well worth it, just took it off before going VW for service as it does not pop up on there diagnostic equipment.... there appeared only one way to go after that and got facelift nardo grey RS3. if only there was a viable plug and play for that...... Anyway hope you can get back and happy motoring brother......Peace Out Ian

@@rizzeerizz8985 there r some mods u can do that are not listed as for the DNB. lots of the DNT mods r compatible plus there is a fair bit u can do engine and air box wise.

cool truck... shouldnt have to turn up throttle on transmitter to start it. If you need to i'd raise the idle a touch. also oiling the air filter is a must. if its idling on its own as is then all you need to tune is the high end needle which is closest to the air filter. to me it sounded lean and then rich so hard to say. i'd richen it by turning needle anti-clockwise first just a touch and see how it goes.
