about point 17, one time I read a theory that said that you have to give yourself goals to reach, but that goals must be related to what is under your control: You cannot control the number of people that suscribes to your channel, but you can control how many videos you upload or the quality of them. I think it's useful to have this in mind at setting your goals because sometimes we can feel frustrated for not having reach something while we make our best effort for achieving it

Happy birthday 🎁 #16 resonated with me most because I live with very needy parents who make it difficult for me to live the life I want. I constantly worry about them when I do need to be, but they raised me that way. I had to stay in the hospital for a week this year, and it made me realize, in my absence, they found a way to survive without me. So I hope this coming year, I can go out somewhere far and discover new things without feeling bad I left them behind. Thank you for saying that life advice ❤️

i must have recognized your art from the metaphysical shop where i saw a tarot deck with your character! i was very close to picking it up but, admittedly, your art reminds me of the art style i left behind during the most promising period of my growth and it kind of stung, especially when it was associated with a name I held in my past as well. as gorgeous as the deck looked, it was a burning reminder that i left my artistic spirit to atrophy for so long that i'm scared i'll never regain my pride lol ironically, a prime example of the "dont avoid feelings" thing. your tarot has reached me in a way that a purchase didn't even need, how serendipitous!

Happy 31st Birthday, Veronica! I'm much younger, in the latter half of high school, but being able to look back and think about what are the most integral parts of your year I think is really integral for acknowledging your own progress. Especially around this time of year. I think this year for me has been my best so far both creatively and maturity wise. Venturing more out of my comfort zone, travelling around nearby places I've never been to, watching more films. Earning a wider palette of taste and understanding more of what I like and how it drives me has been a thrilling experience! Moving forward I think 5 things I aim to do more of in 2025 is develop a better work ethic, listen to more music, use up most of the sketchbooks I've hoarded up, educate myself more on personal favourite topics and get back into more media I've more or less dropped interest with temporarily (video games and anime). Happy Holidays and I hope your birthday was delightful! Take care!

#18 is a very important point! Especially these days, where everyone instantly distracts themselves from negative emotions with their phones.. To actually process emotions, you need to give them space, you NEED to feel them. If you dont they will never stop causing you problems and suffering, in one way or the other. And it wont just effect you either, but everyone around you. Because you dont exist in a bubble, the people around you arent untouched. So for others sake if not you're own, take care of yourself.

I'm only at the middle of the video and really like what you learned. Some things I should probably learn myself. But No. 16 (they survive without you) mademe pause. because I realized that while that's true, that's exactly what I fear the most. that's why I give 200% for others. Because if they don't _need_ me I will end alone. I guess that's something I learned early on (I will be 39 in February) and it stuck. If I'm not useful I'm not wanted and end alone/lonely. I don't want to be lonely. That approach doesn't really work too I still feeling lonely even when I'm with people like friends and family... but that's the only way I know how... I terrified to change it. but maybe I have to... yes I know you meant your sentence a bit different but still it made me think. and I'm REALLY thankful for that. and now I think I will watch the rest of your video xD

Yeah definitely dont recommend making goals like "reach x number of subscribers" You have no real control over that. It is just a result, a consequence of other factors. Goals should be actionable things that are in your control.
