I started doing your videos in July and I can’t thank you enough for all the content you provide and how well you describe it. Now I’ve got the foundations I’ve started watching some of your older videos which are more challenging. This is good as I can now be kinder to myself if I can’t do everything - something I’ve learned through watching your videos. It’s also really nice to see the progress you have made as a yoga teacher. Thank you for bringing Yoga into my life and home!

I just started the 30 day challenge again for the second time. I remember at some point around day 15 - I was feeling like it made more sense in my body. So the first time I started this 35 ish days ago… I was happy to just do whatever I could that felt like what I was supposed to be doing. And now I’m going through again making sure I don’t tip trying to figure out what she just did and lose my balance and miss a pose. . Sometimes I’d go back but, I’d just wanna keep going. Like in this one - when we had knee down hand on the mat other up to the sky and we sweep our foot from a lunge to out balanced. Then bend and grab the foot and arch. That one I clearly recall being so frustrated and I went back and broke it down. And the foot of my bend leg on the floor was wrong. 🤦🏻♀️. I’m actually controlling my core and abs this time aroind.

Thank you Charlie! Can you give me a tip for not a very strong side plank which i had trouble with in day 1and side plank transitions. This is always a more difficult pose for me, I would love your adivice to get stronger here as I appreciate all your other getting stronger tips! I am starting my practice again after 10 yrs on and good 2 yrs off! EEEK! I am finally inspired and thank you for this!

Hello and firstly let me apologise for taking so long to get back to you. Here’s the best advice I could give for trickier side plank transitions. I find it helpful to practice a modified side plank with one knee down and move through the transition (for example stepping forward into lunge) having the knee down means you have more support so you focus on getting the transition smoothened out. When you start to feel really smooth with the knee down then it’s time to challenge yourself and do it the unmodified way. I hope this gives you some constructive feedback that you can start to work with ☺️

Honestly it comes through play. I never sequence on paper, it’s always in my head and it usually comes from exploring on the mat - what happens if we go in this direction, how can we flip this position and so on ☺️

Hey- so my zen den , “ yoga town” is my basement .. partially finished. Very nice little area for me. BUT! I have a slanted floor 😬. The house was built in 1923 - so a minor slant isn’t a huge deal… UNLESS!…im trying to sweep my left leg up while toe grabbing into left side plank. I wonder if it would be better to have the high spot be the top of my mat and have it slant down to my feet ?

161024 Thinking about a morning wake up practice and was scrolling. Then I though to myself, I did hard day 1, I have to try day 2. Still doing all those side planks with knee down & the transitions are not at all graceful nor flowy, but it's not about perfection, right? Hi me from 11 and 9 months ago. I’ve made so much progress!!! I do remember “tipping” when I grabbed the big toe and opened up into extended side plank! It was more like smashing my rear end onto the cement floor!! I’m embarrassed I wrote these comments. I write it in my journal now- but it’s different when I read them with the videos. I’d have to flip through and read everything. And still not know. These are old so idk if anyone even cares

I started with some of your other videos and really liked it but I’m finding your 30 day yoga challenge really too difficult and its stressful when i cant do a lot of the poses as they are too challenging so I’m going to have to abandon it here. It just hasn’t given me the calm and relaxation i thought it should
