Do you find that you are sitting too much these days? If yes, then this yoga practice is for you! Today's practice is all about releasing tension from your hips. Perhaps you spend a lot of time sitting in a car or in front of a computer and your hips are tight. Or maybe you experience built up emotions stored in the tissues in this area. Whatever the reason, this practice will help you let go of any tension from this area.
All you need is a mat and your willingness to make the time for your practice.
Please be sure to modify to your own ability and comfort level. Exercise focused on proper alignment and supporting healthy posture can be a powerful tool to help you manage, and in some cases, reverse chronic pain, but it is not a complete substitute for medical care. This can be paired with meditation as well. Please consult your doctor if you have pain to assist you with a successful plan.
