This video is the only consistent practice that I have been able to achieve on a daily basis, it’s not too wordy and very fluid. Would be nice if you posted a sequel to this. Thank you for considering

Harald Otto Stricker yes but how to get one teacher who can push you to perfection with safety . Do you accept more students? Please give details if yes. I loved this class

You will find in every medium sized city studios dedicated to this style. You might want to search on our Yoga search engine www.yoga.in or you might look at the mother Institutes website (sharathyogacentre.com) or ask there for a teachers list.

Do daily, stay consistent you will feel flexibility in a month

Depends on different for different bodies but you gain a lot in the process.

Practice every day and you will get flexibility. Morning 4 to 5:30 is the best time for ashtanga yoga and I am practicing this time now I am yoga instructor for primary series.

It is indeed for beginners to intermediates, but I can understand that it is too difficult for beginners. In general Ashtanga Yoga Mysore Style was originally more for young people, so you might have to adopt, or better search for a teacher, if you want to stay with this style of Yoga. In general the videos are just made for a first glimpse, a teacher is required.

Why go so quickly, and especially going into lotus and kicking out of lotus, is just asking for trouble. Surely a slower, more mindful pace would benefit beginners to intermediates more. What is the reasoning I’m curious?

Indeed, not recommendable. Training on videos is not recommendable in general and Ashtanga Yoga Mysore Style is a very powerful style. If someone with an age of 60+ years wants to start with Ashtanga Yoga Mysore Style I would suggest a start with a well experienced teacher in this lineage.

I love how all the white girls are telling the people (my people) where yoga came from that they are doing it wrong. Lol white ppl can’t stop appropriating others culture than turning around and telling them they’re doing it wrong.

That is a racist comment. Do you need to have a certain skin colour to understand yoga? Different styles of yoga have developed in different parts of India, cannot different styles develop in different parts of the world and all of them be to some extent right?And having spent some time in India all I see there is people staring at smart phones and trying their hardest to consume as much western culture as they can. Take your culturally divisive opinions elsewhere.

@@cynthiaholland13 Yeah, white people like to geek out on cultural appropriations that help fulfill our vacuus culture! The good thing is we are helping to preserve the lost arts. It takes many decades to get over the superficial practices that first attract us. But, all cultures share each others' culture.

Yes Jumping is not Yoga, Ashtanga vinyasa yoga introduced by krishmacharya practices jumping in between poses, Actual yoga does not prescribe jumping. Utpluthi is holding body and moving like your hand, the beginners will certainly not have strenght to hold entire lower body on hands.
