the interviewer is looking for complex answers from Kobe as to why he is so successful and when Kobe reveals that it is actually so simple, the interviewer cannot fathom that and is constantly trying to get complex answers and I think this is because we as humans want a reason as to why we are not successful. I find Kobe very interesting as he tells you something straight and with this interview, I realise life is really simple. The difference between human and succesful athletes is that athletes take responsibility. We as humans should take responsibility of ourselves. This interview keeps talking about "god given obsession" and Kobe is constantly saying that he does not have that. It is simply loving something so much that you don't find it as work.

Growing up, I didn’t really have anyone guide me the right direction or put me on the right path when I fell off. This is the Kobe I remembered, I don’t know how I could have forgotten this. He helped push me in my life whenever I felt like giving up and to always give it that extra push in whatever I did. A year later, I’ve been feeling defeated and been trying to find motivational videos/anything to help me get through. I can’t believe I am just now remembering Kobe’s words, he helped me growing up through my tough times and this is basically the only type of advice I need to carry for my lifetime. Thank you Kobe.

I stumbled onto this video last year as I was in search for motivation during my training for my first Marathon. I tell people this all the time: David Goggins got me to sign up for a marathon, but Kobe got me through my training. Thanks Kobe, because of you, I can say I ran the 2019, 123rd Boston Marathon. Rest in the sweetest peace! #MambaMentality for everything in life.

This guy recently inspired me to work towards being the greatest possible version of myself. I'll be damned if I won't honor Kobe's life and the inspiration he gave to me and so many others. RIP Kobe, you were one of the GOATS, not only in basketball.

When I went to nursing school. I went to sleep at 8 pm. By 3 am I was awake in the gym 4-6 studying. During my lunch at work 12-1 studying. I recorded myself with the main concepts and during traffic 4-6 I was hearing myself. I sacrificed Hollidays and weekend parties. The reward was my career. Confidence comes from being prepared.

He definitely didn't leave anything on the table... His death really reminded me to work my hardest on my passion because life is too short and unpredictable... Whoever is reading this, keep grinding on your passion and I wish you a very successful and enjoyable life.

KZbin do you know you are my coach, mentor, confidant, encourager? Name it, I'm proud of KZbin! Though we fight and disagree some times, but your impact upon my career and pursuit speaks louder than voice. Keep it up. I won't disappoint God , and I will not disappoint KZbin not by my might but by the might and power of God.

Thank you Kobe for leaving us so much love on and off the court. Thank you for being who you were. You were the best version we needed. I know you did everything you could to succeed. You left no stone unturned. You went that extra to touch the line. Rest in Peace.

I’ve seen this and never worked 100 percent to what I love! Starting tomorrow, I will start to train as much as I can to be elite in basketball rather than my average state, and I will also learn to embrace and have the mamba mentality. I will do it for Kobe! Rest Easy

This is the man. I was a huge Kobe fan growing up. Love my lakers. I developed schizoaffective disorder at 17 and got locked up for a stabbing at 20. Been in a mental hospital for the last ten years. Wanted to be a novelist and musician in the depths of my illness before the incident. Still working on my version of o success in that today after a myriad of challenges, doubts, self hatred and pain. Never give up, and know God wastes no hurt.
