The more I listen to Kobe talking, the more frustrating it gets. He was so sharp and had so much wisdom and experience. With his mindset and principles, he would have been just as successful in the second phase of his life. He reminds me a bit of Arnold Schwarzenegger and the journey he had. They were both perfectionists in their craft. Kobe seemed to have been an amazing teacher as well, with so much knowledge to share with not only basketball players but to people from all walks of life. As fans of basketball, we lost an irreplaceable link between the era of Jordan, Magic and Bird and today's generation. I hope players of today continue to apply what he was able to pass on, and continue studying him, his obsessive attention to detail, will to win and his will to be the very best he could become. This is something applicable to us all, regardless of what our craft or passion might be. A great man, who had so much more left to show and inspire us with, and who left us far too soon. RIP to those who lost their lives in the crash.

America used to live by these words. In just one hour, with Patrick's excellent line of questioning and great level of articulation by Kobe, he told us alot about 1) How the world becomes a library when you know what you're looking for. 2) How to handle extreme levels of pressure on the big days. 3) How an insane work ethic beats God gifted talent. 4) How to be a good Parent and husband by setting the example ourselves. 5) How to choose people we should collaborate with. Kobe is more than an athlete. His mindset is his most valuable asset. Mamba mentality 💯 I will always come back to this interview, for it contains valuable life lessons.

A very intelligent gentleman. No wonder he earned our respect and admiration. To think that Kobe skipped college for NBA, but when he opens his mouth and starts talking his talking with a lot of sense and ingenuity. He is cocky, but little did everyone know that he had s lot of things he is proud of. He accomplished alot of things because of his great mental toughness, sheer determination and passion for what he does. The world will be missing you Kobe. You will be returning to the place where you should be - Heaven. I know that God Almighty will be happy to see you back.

I'm grateful for this interview. A lot of wonderful pieces from Kobe. As a basketball fan, hearing about his loss broke my heart. Also, as an artist I felt sad to learn that he was trying to work and and improve the animation field. It makes me sad that we'll never know the other pieces he could have made. That "Dear basketball" was beautiful and heartfelt. One of my biggest takes on this interview is learning how actors get in their zones. I need to learn that to incorporate my ideas and make it onto my persona. We miss you Kobe.

@@aryansetu9878 Good question, I watched alot of his interviews on youtube and his journey after NBA doing movie etc, how Kobe would approach his goal, set up his mindset to achieve it and his attitude toward success. I could relate with him because he's not a "Ra-ra"/ loud guy, he shows by example, and I also share similar personalities. Hope that answer your questions.
