30 More Arma Reforger Beginner Tips for Update 1.2!

A good tip I like to tell people who play a lot is to become familiar with the contextual actions of the existing civilian structures. For example: there is a service station between Provins and Montignac on that main highway. Not only can you use the fuel pumps to refuel your vehicle and fill the jerry cans, you can also drive your vehicle up on the ramp next to those fuel pumps and fully repair your vehicle (applies to helicopters, too). Great video again, Ironbeard. for anyone wondering, to refill your jerry cans: simply drop the jerry can near the pumps and look at the jerry can. There will be an action that says "Fill". Sometimes it is glitchy but I haven't played in a few weeks so perhaps they fixed it. Due note that the weight of the jerry can can prevent you from carrying it so generally I keep them in the trunk.

Something to note for you Mobile Command unit users or squad leaders is that the MCU can spawn Radio backpacks if it has supply. That means you can spawn on the truck grab a spawn pack and set up a flank position to have your squad attack from or push out to a further base and set up an attack. Very useful for keeping your truck in play and overwhelming the defenders on purple points. This also allows the truck users to park out further from the obj(s) where the truck is less likely to be found.

Ram reforger is a great game and it has endless possibilities. I can’t wait to see what the next couple of years hold for the game leading up to Arma 4. I hope they add more Soviet and US uniforms and gear options. And more iconic weapons that would be used such as the AKM, AKMS, M16A1, RPD, PPSH-41, M70 sniper , M91/30 sniper , M1911A1 M1 Thompson, TT-33, and so on and so forth

The #1 thing I want in Reforger (other than mechanics and whatnot) is more factions. It gets a little boring only having two options in the main gamemode and two maps. I'd like to see things like UK troops, East German troops, etc. If it's set up similar to squad, so players can vote on which faction their chosen side will play, that'd add a lot more replayability for me. Like, imagine how much more interesting the game would be if during the post-game voting bluefor voted for the UK faction, and redfor voted for the PLA faction.

When firing weapons especially with optics remember the HOB rule guys the round projects from the barrel not the sight/pointer, Arma Reforger has this feature in-game. And remember headshots are king, hitting the vest chest area especially from distance is gonna likely save you or your enemy.

Basically it is remembering how high your sight is over your barrel when aiming through close objects like windows. Because the round exits from the barrel, not the sight, it hits lower than the point of aim up close. From experience, this is a great way to make unwanted holes in lower window frames.

Det charges don’t explode if they aren’t armed. Even if you plan to time charge detonate. Arm ALL extra charges with a detonator. It will cause them to all go off when your timed charge detonates.

Protip; most of the time you can just cap Andres Beacon (and build a tower) and you can avoid most of the Entre fun. Baiting the enemy team into fortifying Entre when you don't need it is next level strats. Andres can also be Mined very effectively as there are only a couple roads in and they have large dips and lines that make it easy to speed.

To have a better chance of defending bases that aren't Main Objectives don't bother building an armoury.Because if there isn't alot of supplies then spawning in your expensive load out just to instant die is a waste of supplies.Get more spawns if you use default loadouts

You can save a loadout. There must be supplies and an ammo dump but you don't need to pick out a loadout everytime.

You can save a loadout that lets you be the super soldier you always wanted to be. Make sure to have 50 pounds of various ammo with you and have multiple scopes for your guns. This way you can bait enemy players into searching through your dead bodies gear longer at the position they killed you. Gives you more time to spawn in with that same gear and try to kill one of them.
