ive found 128gb to be enough personally, if you decide to get the 256gb its probably better to save a bit more and get a quest 3 with 512gb and better lenses.

If you want to horde a load of games on your quest then 128gb will not be enough but 128 will be enough for 2-3 large AAA games and a handful of smaller games . From my experience it's best to concentrate on a few games that you will play and beat than lots and finnish none

It’s a big upgrade from the quest 2, the 3s is as powerful as powerful as the 3, the resolution is the same as the quest 2 but if your new it is just fine, 128 gb is plenty of storage, I’ve had my quest 2 for a year now and I have 19gb storage left, but most of the storage is from videos that I have tooken because I make videos, but if your new, and you select old videos you take, 128 gb is very good!👍

@@Skyyyyyy012 If you can only spend $300 and plan to buy decent games on it then yea. I highly suggest upgrading the strap and get external battery for longer play season though. I bought Quest 2 for 3 years and is the best $300 I had spend but the limited ipd adjustment and not powerful enough spec is some negativities I had with it. It is not the best pcvr headset since the only option is a compressed connection to pc so I rather get a dedicated pcvr headset instead

Maybe it is the lighting, or the tracking improved a lot in a month, but my windows are rock steady, everything stays in place. In your footage it woobles around like crazy, for example at 7:50

I have the Q3 and I bought two Q3s for the kids for Christmas. I never understood the concept of “is it good for beginners?” I think if you’re new or not, go for the best option depending on if it’s for you or not. In my case, I’m not dumping more than I want to on a device they very well could end up breaking. If they were older, I’d gamble and get the better one, not the entry level one because the experience is better.

I need help. So I went in side quest to get more games for my meta quest 3s. And there were settings I could change to like quest 3 graphics, quest 2 graphics ext. and I turned on quest 3 graphics then my pass through was blurry I turned it back to default aka quest 2 graphics, it was still the same. Idk what to do but if you could help it would be very appreciated. *edit I also restarted my headset when I set it back to default.

What I've heard the 3S is a good first headset if you have had one before you should get the 3 it has better display but it's $500 USD and the battery on the 3 doesn't last as long hope this helps

Of course I’d like to have the 3 but I just cannot justify spending $500 even though technically I could do it. I loved the quest 2 with 128gb so I’m thinking the 3s would be fine for me. However, even though the 128 would still prob be ok for me because I don’t play a lot of games and would only have a few things downloaded, I feel like 256 gb is a better choice in order to be more prepared for the future. But that’s $400! And for $500 you can get the 3. Fuk 🤦🏻‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️

So having said all that, I’m leaning towards S with 256gb because I will play some games but I mostly use the stuff that’s already on headset, or other little things I’ll add like titanic or something but not big games (but I might) so this headset might be the one for me. Of course my brain is telling me only $100 more and you could get the 3! Lawd have mercy
