Same, managed to bag myself some extra ounces though at least I think there will be more manipulation attacks but it really seems like the effect is starting to weaken, not so much on their end but rather it seems people don't care, don't panic and just hold or even buy more instantly when they see the manipulation now while in the past it made people sell in fear and in turn that fear and people acting on it was the true impact of the manipulation, now they gotta go bigger if they want to have an affect, but the question is, can they? Also I expect a short "correction" down to current prices or lower once the crash does happen right before it will explode towards triple digits, just right before it or during the very early stages of it so if you see that happening, that is your last chance to get silver on super sale, because all of this silver below 50 bucks an ounce is a super sale for long term stackers IMO Edit: I don't think this small movement in May (small being a relative term here ofc, lol) is the situation I describe above btw, but there is ofc a chance it was.

Silver is almost $30, but when i tried to sell some of my stack, I was offered $1.50 back of spot. I was trying to sell just 20 of my 1oz silver coins from Niue, Tuvalu and other countries but no one seemed to want them. I was offered a lot less than they are worth with excuses from the dealers about having a surplus right now. Makes me wonder is stacking even worth it if coin shops won't even give you spot for it.

@silverdragons I downvoted this video because I think you are mischaracterizing “a surge in silver”. Silver lags the gold moves. Gold moved first and this is “pulling” silver up in a leap frog effect. I would characterize a “surge in silver” like this, e.g. If gold is flat to slightly up over a time frame, and silver gains 2x over gold in that time frame, that’s a surge. All my own opinion of course.

Yes, finally someone said exactly what I was thinking the entire video. I realize that SD Bullion is one of Silver Dragons sponsors, but SD Bullion's website spot price is inflated 18 to 20 cents higher than the actual Kitco or Bullion Vault spot prices. So most of the data was not accurate... Spot price never got above $29.75 on 05/15/24 and never broke over $28.70 on 05/16/24. And those were the highest highs for the 15th and 16th.

Gold and silver should move in tandem, relatively speaking. Because they are both precious metals and driven by the same underlying fundamentals. Gold understands this, but for some reason silver is slow. Based on where gold is, silver should be at like $60 right now.
