As to the woman with the "cell phone" even if she were a time traveler, she could not be using a cell phone to talk to anyone, because there was no infrastructure set up to use it. Now that does not negate some other form of communication, but not a cell phone.

it can take 6 months depends on where earth an mars are in there orbits. every 18 months or so theres a window that can be used to get there quicker. if you google it you find a better explanation

Most major news corporations have a 'bible' of pronunciation and there is probably a free one available on the Internet. If people are going to take my shilling then it's reasonable for me to except a high standard in return. There is also the wider consideration of communication and instruction in design, engineering, sciences, and associated disciplines that are sensitive to errors in speech or punctuation. Although as much as I might come across as a punctilious prig, I'm always up for a laugh.
