When you're a kid you just want to fit in, to not be different in any way. I'm so happy we grow out of that!

Always enjoy seeing you. So, HA !, it's not just my wife and I who are hooked on the Hallmark channel ! Love those silly, sappy movies, all similar,all predictable, all with a happy ending. My sons make so much fun of us. ... and 50 Shades. I'm embarrassed to say I got hooked too - books were better than the movie.
@WeatherAnchorMama7 жыл бұрын
Bruce Miller yes. Love 50 shades! My husband and I have completely different tastes in movies. We went to see Wonder Woman and he slept through have the movie 🙄 🤣

This was lovely! I just happened upon this video, and clicked on it b/c you looked familiar. When you said Uniondale as one of the places you lived it clicked. I went to UHS as well. :) Keep up the good work.

The incident with the leg caught in the bed columns illustrates all the counterintuitive parts of being a parent: it is surprising that it was Anastasia rather than O'Shea and a girl rather than a boy. Kids have a way of defying prediction. Thanks a lot for the fun facts.

Its strange ur number 10 is common among many of us Jamaicans. Despite the fact that the country is surrounded by the caribbean sea.

Soooo, I'm a serious romantic too (mostly books and I must have my HEA Happily Ever After...) AND I have no use for super hero movies, either! LOL! I saw 1 Batman, 1 Spiderman, 1 Ironman and all because they were the "thing" happening! 😂 But I never got into the comic books and I don't know Marvel Comics or any of that stuff!

i can understand why u would say that..from watching her videos i can i listeninh to how she grew up she moved from a young age n personally i believe when u migrate at such a young age u get RESOCIALISED and i think thats wat happend. Not in a but way bt i believe she didnt grew up to fully trully appreciate her culture hence you c that she is more comfortable wit the american culture.if she had migrated at as a young adult it would b alot different.( fyi..thats my opinion on d situation)

Tisha yet she can't stop talking about her home country, go figure! When you are a child coming to America from a different country, you are subject to bullying! Children from Britian and other Caribbean countries also did their utmost to sound American so that they were not picked on! It's a bit different now, but back in the day it was brutal! She came here when she was young enough and in order for her to progress, she had to learn to talk the talk, it has nothing to do with being ashamed of WHERE you are from! It's more about not being understood when you speak and not being able to express yourself articulately! That can make any child feel ashamed of how they sound!
@User-z1g3z5 жыл бұрын
@@annglecapatterson5863 exactly!!! Its not our fault we were brought here and had to adjust! We did not ask for it, the decision was made for us. And part of the process of being a young immigrant in grade school -kind of right of passage -is u get called "banana boat, Ja beef patty, they tease your accent, etc" and as anyone could imagine atleast while this is happening you may wish you didn't have an accent so u didnt have to endure this..... until they realize that when they got u too upset it didnt go in their favor....then soon enough it all works out.
