@SeleTraining3 жыл бұрын
On a new message go to Format Text in the menu and set it to HTML format. When it is HTML attachments populate in the header. If you have it on other formats it will paste into the body of the email.

Very informative tips and tricks. Thank you very much, many of these will come in handy. I am looking for specific assistance in getting my Outlook Calendar to sync with my iPhone and was hoping to find the answer in your video, however, it didn't cover off quite what I was looking for. I have scoured the web looking for a solution and tried everything everyone has suggested and shared but no luck. If I was to provide details of my dilemma would you be able to see what info you could provide on my situation ?
@SeleTraining4 жыл бұрын
You’ll want to download and install iCloud for Windows. That tool allows you to sync Outlook with the iPhone.
@yourfathersmoustache68664 жыл бұрын
Yep, did that and it synced the calendars on my iPhone to Outlook on my desktop but the Outlook calendar would not sync back to my iPhone. I could make changes on my iPhone calendars within Outlook and it would show the changes on my phone. It’s the Outlook calendar that is not syncing back with my iPhone. I have even tried using the sync method with iTunes and I have to connect repeatedly to get it to sync. It does not flow back and forth with out connecting using the cable. Any thoughts ?

Got a number of useful tips for Outlook. Thanks! Trying to find if you offer Outlook tips for searching contacts. Outlook does not seem to search well for names that I know are in the address book. It is also frustrating trying to edit contact information. The sofware continues to revert back to the old information. I will watch for one of your training videos.
@SeleTraining4 жыл бұрын
You may want to check out this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iXfXmIuGr5arg68. It can help if your search index is messed up. Also remember that your address book could be in the cloud, ties to your email, or local to your computer. Sometimes those addresses get split into different tools and the search may only work on one. It's best to consolidate them into the global address book if possible.
@dr.davidotto78594 жыл бұрын
Great tutorial. I have never seen anyone put chapter markers on KZbin videos = awesome time saver to skip past known segments. I am having trouble with Outlook 2010. I realize it is legacy, but love it and hate all of the newer versions that use wire icons that all look very similar, very poor contrasting (lighter gray on-top of slightly darker grey instead of real contrasting colors, loss of hotkey function like tab clicking to select multiple emails to delete instead of having to do them one at a time, and a host of other deletions and general changes for the worse. IN watching this video, I did learn about a lot of cool features (thank you), but none that compensate for the horrible butcher job they did to the forced (no option) aesthetic changes and loss of advanced user function. Everyone seems to be following Apple's tren of minimalism - sacrificing function for beauty. Doesn't make sense to me, especially not providing legacy options like they did for windows 7 = task bar and quick launch from windows Xp and Windows 98. All of this is an example of 'fixing' things that weren't broken. You seem to be one of just a few people who may be able to help me with my outlook 2010 on Windows 7 Pro. Please help.
@SeleTraining4 жыл бұрын
Some of the display options for Outlook and other apps are actually controlled by Windows. Take a look at the Advanced System Settings in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qavYh4aia8pjmLc

Thanks for the video. So many tips I learned by watching. Regarding Quick Parts: I applied your tips yesterday and created 3 brand new quick parts. I saw them on my screen and practiced using them yesterday. This morning when I logged in they were nowhere to be found. All vanished. Any idea why or is there a "save step" that I missed because i was very surprised my work was not there after just 1 day.
@SeleTraining3 жыл бұрын
I've not seen that issue. They should be there if you saved them. You may need to click on the icon at the lower corner of that group to manage the quick parts. See if show up in that list.
