I worked on a couple of Wadkin planers over the years. A 12 inch and a 24. They made great equipment. A great asset to your business Szilard.

Like that little truck you brought it in on. Compact but very capable. Planner is also pretty cool. Not as many left as there used to be. Wadkin isn’t as well known in the US but they all look to have been built to serve several generations.

Wow a great addition to your business. Very impressed with the way the tow motor handled it off your truck. Looking forward to the next video showing it at work.

As you have the machine on boards you may want to support the motor also rather than let it float. Great machine, very envious!

Love the image of the metabo planer sitting next to it. Did it come with the blade sharpener?
@szilardpinter5 жыл бұрын
Geoff Brookman there is a jig to set the blade hight, but I think it had a function to sharpen as well. The guy mentioned that, but I’ll have to figure that out.
@geoffbrookman30415 жыл бұрын
@@szilardpinter frank howarth made a video of his powermatic planer restoration. He shows how the sharpener works on that style machine if you can find the part
@vajkfekete26354 жыл бұрын
What is that device with the crank and screw on the top? A sharpener?
@szilardpinter4 жыл бұрын
Vajk Fekete it’s a jig to set blade hight, also (somehow) can be used for blade sharpening. Still need to figure it out though
