@@SimRacingCorner i wanna know your honest answer on this if you would still recommend this mod even though we can clearly see that its h pattern has a problem with the magnets and the questionable durability of that thing placed on the shaft with the addition of some of the commenters here saying a problem about the red shafts mounting points? Im planning to buy one ever since but thankfully saw this when i already saved enough money to buy one and i dont want to waste it

Buying a SHH Thorn shifter seems like a much better option.

The problem was presented accurately. It's been a week since I purchased this product. In the meantime, the shifter's magnet fell off countless times. In the end I had no choice but to use glue.

It is a nice mod but the fun only lasted a week. The mountingpoints for the red pins broke off. They need to use stronger materials.

I highly agree with you on that. For example, alternative mod I recommend is the custom Sim shop h pattern improvement spring better quality, much better mod that is outperforms the stock TH8a shifter

Another mod I would recommend combining with mod cambio The magnetic version is a 1 mm why are diameter compression spring with 5 mm outer diameter and an M3X16 mm ball set screw This will make the shifter a lot stiffer and a lot more realistic out on track

I didn't have much luck with the th8a magnetic mod. The first package never made it to me and had to be resent. The 3d print i got was no good. The magnets would slide out and one wouldn't fit in at all. I had to scrape one out and hold them all in place with hot glue. I’ve contacted 3drap and they haven't gotten back to me.

This was an eye-opener. A bit worried the clamps I want to order won't be of good quality either over stock plastic which is cheaper atm for a pair. Not sure this 3D Printing is a good avenue for quality parts especially anything subject to movement or contact. Thanks for the video. Going to look elsewhere.

Nach 10 min. war es schon gebrochen, und es tut schläge das es schon kein spaß mehr macht. Mit guten Plastigleber und Kabelbinder geflickt bissle gefeilt und platzgemacht. Jetzt funktioniert es. Aber trotzdem Geil😂

Sorry a little off topic but I noticed you went back to your other handbrake. I bought the Simsonn HE v1 style handbrake. I'm super curious as to which one is better?? Oh and thank you so much for posting the having a Turn racing 320 rim with Simsonn GT2 Button plate 😮!!

After I published that unboxing video for the Simsonn HE handbrake, I didn't get around to mounting it to the rig. So I haven't properly used it yet.

From my personal experience, you can polish a turd to a shining mirror, it's still a turd. On PC there's no reason to give Logitech any money now, but it's a good thing this mod exist, it gives console players a cheap way to upgrade their shifters. Great video

The only mod worth doing on this shifter in my experience. Is just a 4mm preload behind the spring. Takes like 1 minute to print. And is hidden inside the shifter and makes a bigger difference than h pattern mods I found
