Amazing video and I really appreciate the effort you put in documenting the tank for almost a year !! Hats off to you . I have tried to grow pinnatifida and blyxa without co2 but never had luck. Wonder what is your secret 😬
@nature_scape Жыл бұрын

Beautiful! I always have co2 in my tank but want to try this out, what is the temp of your tank? Do you think this can be achieved with a 28c?
@nature_scape Жыл бұрын
Thankyou 🙏 I keep the temps between 24 to 26 degree Celsius.. I guess 28 could be a little high but still there are scores of plants that may do well at 28

Hello mate How big is your tank in terms of liters? I love this set up and thinking of doing similar set up so would you be so kind to quantity the amount of plats pots you have used. I have your plant list already. Many thanks in advance

The tank is 65 liters. now as far as the pots are concerned its a but difficult to tell as i have used many plants from previous scapes and some have been purchased. so i am sorry as i do not have an exact count

Super tank without co2 , i had escaped a tank 5 days back and was thinking to afd co2 in that but now i am thinking if i can give 1 more try without co2 also , can you give some tips in doing so , i mean what should be initial routine for water changes ? , lighting duration , mocro or macro nutrition dosage ? will u suggest to give co2 injection for starting and then remove it , my tank volume is 40 liters
@nature_scape Жыл бұрын
Thankyou 🙏 See initially if your soil is new than I don’t think you need to add any nutrient in water column. Later the plants will tell you when to start adding plus I would say use soft water (RO) preferable plus keep up with water changes that’s 40% every week and don’t allow the water temps too exceed 26 degree Celsius
@arpitkhare9571 Жыл бұрын
@@nature_scape already using RO water , i added some nutrient but as u suggested may may be i will wait for some more time , also lighting i m using as of now 10+ hours ( its not that high end light , midium lighting with 10+ hours) , is it good ? Also suggestions on giving a boost with co2 injection may be in start ? Or not required ? Also i kiked the plant buchepalendra and valsenaria mini , will they go good in no co2 ?

Can you keep siamese algae eater in this tank? How many siamese algae eaters and otocinclus do you have? I have a 60 x 30 x 30 cm tank that i want to add this fish to but i read online that this tank is too small.
@nature_scape Жыл бұрын
Yes you can keep I had upto 4 small sieamese algae eaters and 2 Otto but when sieamese algae eaters grow than you need to re-home them and once again opt for small ones.

@@nature_scape Great tank! Anything specific that you did to ensure Pinnatifida was able to grow without CO2? I never had luck with Pinnatifida without CO2, would slowly melt away in my low tech tanks.
@OriginalAirsoftGasser Жыл бұрын
I'm doubtful also, the bucephelandra is a big giveaway, you never get it to grow with that leaf pattern unless you are using co2, there's money to be made on KZbin and most people will be dishonest about how they do things.
@Riescaper Жыл бұрын
same here. that pinatifida is absolutely need co2.
@nature_scape Жыл бұрын
@Aqeel Nazeer Thankyou 🙏 and nothing specific I have always found that when ever you keep this type of plants closer to light they will do well forsure, even I wasn't having good success when i used to plant them in soil as they were away from light and if I would have had increased the light intensity than that would have resulted to disaster because of high light and no added co2. And I would like to add not only pinatifida I was able to grow hygrophila araguaya quite well too with the same method hope this helps.
