Dohc is way cooler, pushrods are the opposite of an efficient race engine like there are stock 4 and 6 cylinders that can make that hp naturally aspirated and streetable just because of 4 valves per cylinder and immense headflow and valves and cams bigger than this v8. All that useless stuff i just said aside WHY DO THEY HAVE TO SOUND SO DAMN GOOD😂 DAYUM.

OMG, what back woods run-in is this? No cooling system, no valve covers ... that guy must be covered in oil after that. No wonder he shut it down. If he wasn't covered in oil, you better tear it down and find out why the top end isn't getting lube. You didn't run-in or test anything, except to say it will start ... Ford guys, geeshe...

@@emerykinzie794 A 302 at 500 hp, 500÷302= 1.65 hp per cubic inch. Gets iffy with stock crank rods, pistons. Its doable with a well managed tune, but,,,, a 302 to 347 stroker, would lower the hp per cube number, best choice a 351 Windsor, with a stroker crank ,yielding a 427 cubic in. Now the 500 hp is around 1.3, 1.4 hp per cube, a much safer range for bottom end components. Have a friend a nitrous fan , has split 302 blocks ,on the shot.
