300 Miles Off Road, on a barn find Honda CL350

I recently embarked on an epic adventure called the Skidmark 300 - a challenging 300-mile ride through the gravel and dirt roads of southern Ohio, all on vintage motorcycles! 🏞️ In the true spirit of the ride, I stumbled upon an abandoned gem, a CL350 hidden away in a barn, untouched since the Cold War. With a bit of elbow grease, I managed to unstick it, cleaned the carburetors, and without further ado, I sent it roaring down those roads, rust and all! 🛠️💨

Good to see an old CL350 just like my dad's in '70. Back then I thought this was big stuff, then he bought a candy garnet brown CB750 K1. I was a kid, but all I thought of were these, SL350's and CL450's. If bikes didn't progress past this era, I'd still be happy. Love my new bikes, but still dream of back then.

We've done a similar trip with our group a few years back. All pre 80's 2 stroke dual sports (DT's, F11's, YZ400 and Elsinore) across the U.P. of Michigan about 600 miles on dirt roads/trails. I just recently moved to Cleveland so I'm looking to get more involved with you guys and definitely join this trip next year!

Awesome! Stop by Skidmark Garage sometime. Wednesday evenings are generally popular. Brian is the owner 4806 Hamilton ave Cleveland. Park in the lot off 49th and enter through the man door. You will fit right in.

Dude! This is so much fun! Great video! A true testament to what you can do with very minimal investment. I look forward to watching this bike “minimally” improve. 😂🙌🏻

It has improved minimally already. Mostly unkinking the throttle cable did wonders. I will be doing other minimal maintenance to this thing at the piston power show next year. People can stop by and work on it if they like.
