Great video. Massey pushing the stuck trailer using the weight block bearing directly onto the chassis seemed a bit rough… maybe I’m being unfair, I haven’t seen it done before. The published costings are very interesting… the raking seems costly to me when compared to the mowing or buck raking. As commented on previously before seeing this video, I remember 30 acres a day being the limit and feeling like a real achievement. Keep up the good work.

Just a query on why you fill the back of the trailer first . It takes the weight off the back of the tractor and reduces traction in my opinion .

@@jamesbartley3106 Filling on the right hand side means that the trailer is on the same side as the pickup real, so your head doesn’t need to be on a swivel trying to watch both. Plus the controls are all in the right side of the cab, much more natural to turn your head to the right when your right arm/shoulder are already pulled back to get your hand on the controls.

Doesn’t the cost per hour for all the operations totally depends on operator, field, crop etc etc? Isn’t a cost per ha or acre better? Might just be my way of thinking…. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I pay a man to rake, I mow myself. Would have had to pay my contractor £100/hr+ to mow. 😆

Climate change happens, but nothing to go "the world is ending" crazy about. Simple example in my backyard, first frost comes about 2 weeks later then when I was a kid. So an observed change over 60 years, with consequences, mostly nice.
