Crazy weird shit like this or builds that people would never think to do are what appeal to me now. Car culture has basically turned into something thats just so void of personality and uniqueness in terms of builds. Its all basically copy and paste with builds now. I can honestly see how theres a growing number of people who are falling out of love with the car community. Theres really no room for new ideas because many now think the car world is about being fast for the internet, takeovers, caring about only buying light cars to modify, throwing body kits on everything and just seeming very one dimensional and a walking stereotype. I really checked out of many car youtubers years ago when Paul Walker died just simply because they wouldnt drop it 2 or more years into his death. That and so many of them wanting to live that F&F fantasy life also got to me. Like I said, many in the car community just come off as very 1 dimensional when it comes to cars.

For those that have never driven a regular smart car - when trucks pass you on the highway you get pulled in towards them 😂 It’s a no joke terrifying car to drive. I can only imagine this swap!

I never had any idea what Flipper was saying to the Ranger and his two boys on TV back in the day. Thanks for clearing that up.

I have seen this car around DSM and it's always kind of funny to hear it go. It seems like it be super fun, but prolly terrifying at the really high power levels.

He'll, it looked terrifying at 300 lmao!!

I’m out all the time but I’ve never seen it. Now I can’t wait until the day I get to this around town!
@frostshock132 жыл бұрын
@@parkerlee7757 Only seen it briefly and it's gone. I am sure if it's down at off the line they wouldn't be upset if ya stopped by to check it.

I think I saw him speeding on 235 for the b roll. Pretty ballsy with those speed cameras.

That's so dope it's still chain driven and the clutch is by your foot! That's a cool azz milk jug

I've seen videos of turbo busas popping power wheelies with just a light throttle blip at 120+mph. I don't know how you people are still alive, lol.

its a bit different meat crayoning your self down the road in a 2000lb car vs a 600lb bike

Try 607 whp.. I've been racing and turboing Hayabusas for 17 years. I've got the RCC ultra turbo kit. Ryan Schnitz built and tuned it. Made 607 who at 33lbs on c16 . Makes 403 whp on pump gas. I'll do rolling 180 mph burnouts. We run 6.8 at 210mph in quarter mile and go on cross country rides

You know it's a fun build when there are multiple bleeps in the video.

I think my biggest fear would have been the aerodynamics and flipping that thing head over heels like one of those offshore superboats.
@trostlefilms2 жыл бұрын
I would be so terrified of flipping that thing 😭😂😂

Props to Eric for building his car. So many chumps out here with cars and stuff they don't turn a single wrench on themselves.

That looks like so much fun! I was going to sell my smart car but I might just keep it to do this one day. I’d love to see the engineering that went into this! Does it have a reverse gear?
@jonputnam57452 жыл бұрын
It's light enough, just lift the front end and turn it around 🤣

I wonder why nobody puts those engines into the sexier, flat smart cabrio. There was one that actually came as a brabus version with turbo. Its more flat, wider and also really light and looks way better. Pls put a turbo busa engine into that thing. I guess u could get up to 500-600 hp and still feel safer then in this smart here.

I've seen this car in person. It is as wild as it seems.

Truly a Q-ship. If you don't notice the back tires or the exhaust, it looks 100% stock. Love it!!!

Even with the motor in a smart car, the hayabusa is a good beginner bike lol

I love this. I remember watching the first smart car Hayabusa engine swap back in high school on O.G. KZbin back in ‘08. It’s like reliving that awesome moment but better video quality 👍

I have a 2008 Gen 2 Hyabusa, so I know it's fast. This looks like it would be a hoot. I kind of assume since this is going in a car that you had to fabricate a ton of custom to make it fit and work?
@lorenzomartinez99712 жыл бұрын
yea i mean he says it in the video. the Owner did all the shit himself

I love how the car just lifts in every gear. \m/

Apart from the shift pattern being backwards IMO, this is an exquisite and epic build. Props to mans. If only it had a slightly longer wheelbase. (and maybe a quickshift/autoi-blip setup)
