Having done allot of house and cabinet painting prep is everything, but watching you tackle a car and your attention to detail is really enlightening and takes out the mystery of doing it yourself with some basic spray guns and a compressor, thanks for sharing your journey's with these projects and all that goes into restoring them to driver levels without breaking the bank to do it.

Your story of the parking lot door dings is a good representation of why many of us like patina. It’s still upsetting even with a patina vehicle but it’s a little less infuriating. Door dings and shopping carts are the bane of everyone who loves cars.

The cheapest flat black works the best as a guide coat, doesn't clog up the paper as bad.
