My favourite game ever: Sonic 3 & Knuckles. Ever since it come out, I had S&K and I would borrow copies of 3 from friends until I would get it myself. Loved that game. Dunno, it’s gotta be the branching paths. Like Knuckles can’t jump as high as the others so he can’t go where Sonic and Tails can. Also on that note Tails and Sonic can’t smash through rocks the Knuckles can do it really adds to it

In Midnight Resistance (11:53), you can duck and shoot forward (or whatever direction) by pressing B then duck. Some parts of the game can be uber hard if you don't use the B button. The control is so strange because the arcade original had a special rotating stick and they tried to imitate that with a controller. It would be great if someone remake the game as a twin stick shooter, which completely solves the weird control problem.
@GregsGameRoom2 ай бұрын
I tried some of the other control methods and one ducked and fired forward. But it still had you press a button to shoot in different directions. Too weird.

I'm not sure they aren't more concerned with some irrelevant technical feat half the time than the actual underlying game and how much fun it genuinely is to play. Virtua Racing STILL looks really impressive on the Genesis, even if it didn't quite match the awesomeness of the 32X version. To be able to play that game at home at all back in 1994 was freaking amazing, especially on a base Genesis. As an SNES owner, i was super jealous! Especially since Virtua Racing was one of my favorite arcade games from that era. That said, it was a huge surprise when VF2 came to the Genesis and it was a 2D game!
