Dr. Maddie Giegold's adventurous life was cut short suddenly, just five days before completing her residency. The 32-year-old spent the past few years as Chief Resident at Community Regional Medical Center through its partnership with UCSF Fresno. Through their grief, Maddie's family and friends filled the hallways of CRMC Sunday for an honor walk celebrating her final act of service with a mountain of sunflowers.

I hope every nurse/doctor no matter the age aspires to be like this lovely soul was. 🌻 So many healthcare professionals are loosing that spark in their eyes and it shows in how they treat and carry themselves with their patients. I pray we all learn to smile a little more and have more compassion for our fellow humans, Amen! 🙏🏼

I got to call her a friend and colleague. She was a badass doc and incredibly kind. It still feels unreal that she is gone and we aren't going to be able to enjoy her sweet smile anymore. The last text message I had from her was her checking in when my dog died. She would have gone on to save many, many lives. It is heartbreaking.

I'm sorry you lost such a wonderful friend and human being . I know someone who's going through this right now with the loss of her 19 year old daughter who was like a real life living angel that everyone loved but I truly believe that sometimes these people are called home early because they are really needed because of how special they are and once they are on the other side and not trapped in this material plane they are even much more powerful to help the many who suffer . I believe she continues on and helps so many more now and lift them up and inspires them and give them strength and hope , protects them ... and guides them and yes they check in on their loved ones regularly they are never really far they just become so much more powerful on the other side and can be many places doing much more . When you talk to her and think thoughts to her she hears you

She died because the hospital she worked in forced her to take experimental mRNA quaZzines that clotted up her brain and circulation. Did they bother doing an autopsy, because in 2010 if a 32 year old person died of a stroke, I am fairly sure they would demand an autopsy. If the hospital made sure no autopsy will be done, you have to ask yourself "why"? Plenty of funeral directors have publically shared the unusual and absolutely unnatural things they have found in people who died of strokes at a young age, in the recent two or three years. But, what is the point!? If 999 people believe the lie, truth has only a small chance of being relied on and actioned, to ensure a better outcome for all of us. So, this woman basically died because she was forced to do something. Second, had she refused to take the clot shots, she would have been likely fired and lost all of her seniority and pension. Third, all of her friends and family, probably without exception, pushed her to "do the right thing" and then, when she listened to them and died suddenly, did they even reconsider, even for a moment, the moments they encouraged her to take the clot shots? So her friends and family and colleagues and her bosses are, in fact, responsible for her early death and are complicit in murder, or at the least, negligent homicide or manslaughter. The fact that no investigation or enquiry is going to take place says a lot! And, if we all allow things like this to take place and do absolutely nothing about it, why should we be spared when this happens again!!??

Yes, I want to know what caused this stroke & an autopsy should have the answers! This is unacceptable as these young people work 18 hour shifts with just 6 hours off, sleeping at the hospitals on a small cot or in an empty hospital bed. Nor in the Korean, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan wars did you see the number we have now. As a caregiver provider. I'm livid. The system does this as designed. The human body is not meant to deal with the toxic compounded stress that we take on. Getting a residency is so stressful on the mind and body- many providers aknowledge that if they speak up, they are left excluded and fear of losing all the hard work. You can't tell me she didn't know something was off- if she was as good as we believe. She ignored her body in order to get that residency done! This should be one of many catalysts to bring attention to the pressures we put on our medical providers. ❤

@@madjack8893 I know plenty of docs. None of them do it to help people. All of them do it for the money and prestige. Get real.

@@skimmer521 The work is thankless. The majority of the time you are seeing people during the worst times of their lives. People who get in it for the prestige learn very quickly that they won’t be getting any. They don’t last long. Maybe the plastic surgeons I could agree with you, but having worked ER and ICU I didn’t see them as often as the other specialties.

Cancer and strokes really aren't that new in young folk. With women, birth control pills are usually the prime culprit, not as common sense lower doses are used now then in the 60's, but it still happens. Couple that with the high caffeine intake of many residents who have 36 hour shifts, and its only a surprise that untimely deaths don't happen more often.
