You can use the hex key that came with the unit to screw in the rubber stoppers. Just put them in the holes of the rubber stoppers and push down as you turn.

Thank you so much! You helped me fix mine :) It has been so many years since I have had to adjust mine I had forgotten! That is a testament in itself for this product though, I purchased it in 2004 and it is now 2023 and this is only the second time I have had to service my grip!!!

Love the video. Researching to purchase right now, and yours has been the most helpful video, and also the only video so far to SHOW the adjustments. Thank you, you're awesome!

Thanks for the tips! I almost threw it away after several trips with irritations when i try to take pictures vertical. The camera didn’t stay as I wanted because gravity took over 😫 With only one inbus move those days are over and I am boss over the tripod and joystick head again👍🏼🎉

Just bought one off eBay and your video is a life saver. Thanks so much for posting this. Also - why in the name of God don't Manfrotto put a proper user manual on their website?

Great video. though I do wish you'd have ended by showing your completed assembly with a camera on a tripod. I didn't realize these grips are so versatile. Thanks so much.

I have the same grip, anytime you have rubber grommets studs, as in this video, simply rub a tinyTINY drop of WD40 on the stems and this avoids all the force and effort to push them in..... try it... so easy...

Great video! I wish I had searched this before I took the unit apart to find the adjustment screw. It was tough to get back together.

Nice video. But changing it for left hand to right hand user doesn't seem to be that simple. If we simply remove the two Allen bolts and move the QR plate holder to the other side the grip can no longer help you use it in "normal" position. I think we need to remove the four Allen bolts on the grip itself and flip it around?
@demiurgum2 жыл бұрын
There's no "normal position" for this grip. Be default the plate is positioned for right-handers. If you reposition the plate on the opposite side of the grip you'll get the same "normal position" for left-handers (with the only difference the marking stamp Manfrotto would be underneath).
