'33 Ford Hot Rod | Murdered Out Hand Built Factory Five Kit

I saw this and knew we had to shoot it. I didn't know that Factory Five made this kit until now. Guess I've been out of it on what they do? I love the looks of this and it has power for days making just shy of 400 hp at the wheels and weighing around 2,000 lbs...and I absolutely love the murdered out look.

Yeah but starting in 2022 you can no longer drive any of these vehicles anywhere on the planet. These vehicles will be confiscated and a $50,000 fine. Your tools may be confiscated and your shop cleaned of all petroleum products because you're no longer allowed to own such things. You will own nothing and you will be happy about it.

@@AutotopiaLA I think it works because the wheels are ultra modern, but have a design that vaguely resembles the spokes of the classic cars. Same with the headlights. They're also ultra modern, but made in the basic design that the cars of that era used to have. It's a fine balance that both the car and the wheels have between the original 1930s cars look and the ultra modern.

Very cool, Shawn and Roman, and a kit car sort of splits the difference between a line car and a one-off, no? I totally dig the process, like model car building back in the day, except for big kids. And now that all those old Fords are no longer available for next to nothing, as they were once upon a time in California, a Factory Five build is the modern interpretation of the original thing. And locally, here in Central Pennsylvania, I regularly see a gent driving southbound on Rt. 316 in a black, chopped '32 Ford. it is probably original, but maybe not, hard to tell and always cool, whatever the origin.

Hey Roman...instead of dialing those QA1 to hard for drag racing...try the softest settings...that way you will get some weight transfer and actually hook up. Stiff is not the way to go.

Very cool man. Exactly how I would want mine to look if I had one. It doesnt need a flashy paint job. I dig the matte finish on alot if cars. Definitely on this one. Needs more contrast, depth and layering. Flat black on black was stylisticly old and lazy in 2014. Wheels that are less dark would achieve more visual weight, depth and presence. Please incorporate more shades of gun metal, charcoal, gloss black and at least a single piece of brightwork on the exterior thanks. Frame 1:30 is a perfect colour palette to reference. Including the suspension components and the grey floor. Additionally, a blue oval badge placed prominently in the centre of the grill would create a pleasant focal point that fortifies heritage in visual terms. Congratulations on the mean machine but it requires an appearance fitting its attitude. Sincerely, More scratches and grime.
