Corvette got the holeshot too. Not sure if he had to pedal it at all with the front tires in the air. Looks like it was drifting towards the wall.

Yeah that corvette left super hard, then the hellcat ran him down at the end of the 1/8th. Definitely a great race

So there was a section much closer to the start line people could pay extra to get into as “crew chiefs” or “media” but they still aren’t supposed to be surrounding the cars like that and definitely shouldn’t have been that many people but it was a big grudge race a lot of people bet money on so the crowd was acting kinda stupid
