One of my absolute favorite toys as a kid, my brother and I had an insane amount of them. Surfer Mikey, ninja April, Kraang and the transforming Splinter were my favorites growing up 😍 I loved the turtles so much, not sure you remember the pizza parties that used to happen at Pizza Hut?! So awesome and the TMNT fan club, red bandana? 😍😍

My fondest story was getting the Party Wagon! The year it came out, I knew in the time leading up to my birthday that that's where my birthday money was going! Birthday came, money in hand, on to the store... Sold out... Everywhere! I spent a week calling every toy store, department store and anywhere that had a toy aisle including grocery stores and pharmacies! No one had it. I was starting to think I wasn't going to find it, it's all I could think about. One night I had a dream that I had finally gotten it from the Service Merchandise catalog. The next day, I talked to my mom about trying to order one through there. As it turned out, we had a Service Merchandise fulfillment center not too far away that had a pickup area so she said to try calling them. I did and they had ONE in stock! They held it and my mom took me right away to pick it up! I had to work to get it but I finally had my Party Wagon!

Yeah I liked those 90s tmnt toys, because their faces looked like the original cartoon. The cartoon at the time did a good job of including all the characters from the toy line, and also the video games (except the first nes one). Skip ahead to 2006, I spent the night at a girl's apt I was dating and the following Saturday morning her son was watching the 00s tmnt cartoon and I thought holy hell this looks awesome, even better than my generation's. Also the scripts were not as jokey as the 90s and had a more Miller/Batman 80s gritty feel. Also, the 2016 movie was damn good. Even though I thought the turtles looked tacky, Bebop and Rocksteady were great characters and April O Neil was fine af. Thanks Chief!

i remember in 88 when the turtles first came out i got donatello and bebop for christmas i didnt even know what they were till i got them that christmas they were from the original line that came with paperwork to be in the turtle fan club and they had soft heads that was a great christmas that year..

Back then I really had some big issues to get a Raphael or a Rocksteady here in germany. I remember that. First one was Donatello I guess. And the first vehicle was that motorcycle.

I’ve always hated the original Shredder figure. He looks like a scrawny crackhead. I’d say the best looking figures had to be Leatherhead and Slash.
