@@Nexils I didn't enjoy It. Though that could be because I loved the mini series with Tim Curry. I didn't compare them but I still was bored and there were no scares in the movie. I'll still watch chapter 2 but am not anticipating improvement over the 1st installment.

Overall I liked the first movie, but the scenes felt repetitive after the first couple of scares with the flute lady and the headless kid. I hope they can let the scenes flow a little better in Chapter 2.

Notice that Samar A drops a churro on the lab floor and immediately declares the whole thing a bacterial mess. But when it shows Samar picking up trash in the end credits scene, he spears a discarded churro and starts eating it. This would indicate that he probably isn't Samar A, and just might be Samar C--a new dimension. Also, Ryan B tries killing Ryan A saying he has to do it or worse things will happen. I think the 3rd sequel will have the team working with DARPA to address the multiple Ryan scenario (Ryan seemed to have advanced knowledge of "what happens when there are two of you in the same time frame). So plenty of set up for a third sequel!

@12:31 yeah they said they needed to solve which formula was the right one later on they say once three finds the right one there is two options one you stay and all time loops are fixed and any deaths from this point on are permanent then ryan says option two you go back to your dimension and close off all time portals later on when the movie is ending ryan said that the other version of three solved all the loops with that formula on the other side causing the blast from the beginning and end of the movie re watch it lol sorry I watch alot of steins gate it's crazy how alot of things where already there in the begining also remember that okube had to fail to succeed my theory for the third movie (happy death day "three" ) was hinted in this movie the other guy from the third dimension is there to stop the one that made that time loop machine and failed we say he wasn't there when tree resolved the time loops on both points then we see " Darpa " which is a node to steins gate in that show every faction of government finds out time travel is possible due to failed time travel watch the show anyways they all find out time travel is possible they end up starting a war to who will creat the first time travel Russia usa China and Germany all race to solve time travel world war three happens and okube has to go to point zero where he needs to trick the world into thinking the events happened but never happened at the same time also stopping the original text going back to daru is prevented and kirisu is knocked unconscious with a puddle of the alternate okube's blood so the original okube sends "OMG that girl is dead upstairs" but she isn't so the event happened but it didn't solving a paradox he then lives out his life with the knowledge of time travel but isn't going to mess with it which is how I think this next movie is going to be Ryan way later on and he knows he is suffering from everyone being killed but time is going to reset over and over again he is going to need to find a way to resolve the paradox Ryan time travels into "happy death day 2u" fails and when three fixes all the time loops with the formula Ryan get sent back to dimension 3 ("happy death day three") re attempts time travel gets sent to (happy death day 1 ) and the loop starts from movie 1 again the cycle will never be broken

You mentioned that there would be dead Tree's in all these parallel universes each time Tree killed herself. But I believe Tree was resetting the timeline in just the one dimension while she was in dimension B. So there wouldn't be a half naked Tree splattered in front of Danielle and Carter in one dimension and a bloody mess at a wood chipping machine in another dimension. Each time Tree died time reset, the deaths were erased and only Tree remembered what was going on (except for Ryan who remembered a couple of resets himself). Only two different parallel universes were in this movie. Dimension A and dimension B. Where Ryan 2 came from is still a mystery but I'm pretty sure that's a setup to another sequel, considering how the blackouts in HDD1 were revealed to be caused by the science experiment in HDD2.

What if this whole time, Tree was following herself through dimensions and murdering herself to close the loops. Tree in the first movie created so many loops that eventually she landed in a dimension where her roommate was a psycho and that dimension used the same scenario for a nefarious reason which allowed Tree to question and kill her attempted murderer.
