I am like you, I can't leave things the same all the time. I'm getting ready to change the living room arrangement around for fall and winter. I change the decor around in my condo every season, too. I have always done this and it really rejuvenates me to see the changes. So, I totally understand your need for change. Your tablesettings are always so pretty. I wanted to tell you something that happened to me, I kept falling asleep-nap in the middle of the day, and I didn't before so we went to the hardware store and bought a lead test for dishes and sure enough my pan and plate and cup had to be thrown out but now I'm not tired. Downsizing changes your life completely. There is no workspace, and nobody wants my craftwork anymore. Sewing machine went to the back of the closet. I shall spend my time watching other channels, and developing my own.

So happy to seeing you doing well and enjoying all of your beautiful collections!!!!! I have a very nice collection of vintage artificial fruit. It is packed away right now so I think I will get it out and make a nice display for my dining room table. I also have a beautiful set of vintage fruit made of glass that stays on display in my dining room at all times. I paid a pretty penny for it and the bowl it is in-the bowl is really not large enough, so I think I will put this fruit in my mother’s Fostoria bowl and use the current bowl for some other display. I tend to change out the displays on my dining room table and buffet the most frequently and it is time to make some changes. Last spring I got on a china tea set kick. I ordered several beautiful tea pots and tea cup sets-like I needed them-I definitely didn’t need them but wanted them. These sets have been on display on my dining room table and buffet for several months. I have no earthly idea what I will do with them-LOL-but I am sure I will come up with something interesting!!! I want a tea cart so badly, so I may pursue this via a Christmas present from the hubby-LOL!!!!! I also love blue cheese dressing-I’ve made it from scratch many times, but I usually just buy Marie’s blue cheese dressing in the fresh produce section at the grocery store. So glad you had a nice outing with your friends and went to the tearoom for lunch. I have several boxes of spice cake mix on hand, and also some canned pumpkin, so I think I will try to make some pumpkin bread , too!!!!! It’s always great to see you!!! 💝💝🙏🏻💝💝🙏🏻💝💝

If you ever need a quick icing just cream some softened butter and powdered sugar until it tastes sweet enough and then stir in 1 or 2 tsp vanilla. Spread on the cake while still warm❤

@@chitchatwithgrannypat7900 there is. They produced a lot salt during the civil war. I’m from Bristol Tennessee, and moved here in 2019 after finding a house here. We were lucky on getting it in 2019. But what I’ve heard, is that Saltville, and their salt, played a major role in that war. I’ve heard good and bad things about Saltville. I think the worst was about Confederate soldiers breaking into a hospital and murdering injured union soldiers. A lot of them were black. Not to be such a downer, but it is such an interesting and important story - I think. On another note, My husband is very into history and believes the first Indigenous and American Soldiers child was born here. That’s documented. I might have to get back to you on that. I could have that a little backwards, but I think he said something like that. It’s a strange part of the town, where I live. I’m a half-mile from Abingdon Va limits. We can’t even vote in Saltville. I think that’s a little wrong. Much love to you. Were there a lot of frogs in Frog Level ?

Blue Cheese dressing 1 1/4 c. sour cream, 1/4 c. mayonnaise, 2oz. crumbled blue cheese, 1tbsp. minced fresh parsley(or 1tsp. dried), 1tbsp. lemon juice, pinch fine sea salt, pinch fresh ground pepper, milk or buttermilk to thin for desired consistency

Blue Cheese dressing 2 Mash together 1/2c. crumbled Blue Cheese & 6oz. sour cream or Greek yogurt. Mix in 1tbsp. mayonnaise, 1tbsp. lemon juice, 1tbsp. white vinegar & 1/8tsp. garlic powder. Add salt & pepper to taste.
