This will probably get buried in the comments, but I just want to say, my heart is with my Appalachian brothers and sisters. I'm from the midlands of South Carolina, but visit Boone, NC several times a year. Appalachia is my second home. Your towns were beautiful and will be again. Please know that my family and I are donating and working with Samaritan's Purse and helping how we can. Please know that you're not alone. ❤

The strength of those that have had to endure so much just brings tears to my eyes. It is so heartbreaking to see everything they owned, homes, their beautiful land and possessions swept away by nature. Their sense of community, people coming together, strength and faith is showing the world that the human spirit is far stronger than anything else. God bless you all as you go through the recovery, rebuilding and grief at loss. This song needs to become a #1 hit❤

SONG: fyi…RICK MORELAND is listed as the song writer in the video description on this channel ‘3 days ago’ however there is no link, website, yt channel, etc. No info to give direct access for people who want it. The only place I’ve been able to find / hear the song is on this channel. Hopefully the owner of this channel can fix that for Rick Moreland and anyone who wants to hear his beautiful tribute. ☮️ Edit: I appreciate this channel for showing the real story of what the people are enduring. I wish them all the best in their recovery from this unimaginable devastation. ❤

I'm 62 and I've been a proud hillbilly from (Almost Heaven) WV. I've traveled to almost every state in the USA & a few countries but living here around the Appalachian mountains is where I will take my last breath. We believe in helping our neighbors, watching out for the elderly and when a tragedy happens we all pitch in. We are proud, resourceful and giving. We are here on earth to help our fellow humans. God Bless each and every person down there on their own dime, helping these amazing people from KY & TENN. It will come back to you tenfold!!

Comment.....They say the next main problem will be to find original property lines because the actual property markers that surveyors use to mark and find property lines have washed away, which will make for a long hard time to find your actual property lines.

I believe those markers are available via satellite these days. Of course, the original markers are always preferred by property owners.
