Can i say something? My son left SC and spent two weeks in Del Rio TN. He was with a heavy machinery crew digging out roads. He came home and literally sobbed over the enormous need and the WONDERFUL PEOPLE! He also spoke of a church and Pastor that fed them every meal every day. If i remember correctly it was called Fugate Freewill Baptist Church. He has made donation runs to WNC but the TN folks stole his heart. ❤

It is very easy to watch where the eye of the hurricane is heading. People just need to watch and leave the mountains if they have to. But really you just need to pray and do that best thing you think you can when the eye of a hurricane is heading toward you. They are hard to outrun and predict. The first hurricane that hit this year hit Texas and went all the way across to Maine flooding everywhere it went. This one stalled over TN and NC and that was bad. I have been saying don't locate in Florida or anywhere a hurricane can reach you.

We rallied our local community and ended up delivering 9 pallets of supplies like tents, sleeping bags, cook stoves, propane, and other items to Hartford, TN. From there, we hauled some things up to Del Rio. We're planning on making another run down next week with some heaters and propane. The people of Appalachia are going to need support and prayers for a long time. God bless!

Please don't badmouth the gov't, they're doing the best job they can in the circumstances. Did you know that because of the lies being told about FEMA, there are actually crazy armed vigilantes out threatening the workers on site? Did you know that because of the lies, people are afraid to apply for monetary aid because they've been told it's only a loan, and not a grant? And if the gov't has a hard time coming up with the funds it needs to complete repairs and rebuilding, you can thank Speaker Johnson, who left us with a continuing resolution, and refused to call the House back from break to approve the funding they need.

Just watched your generosity to help the homeless in NC. God will bless you guys for doing this! A thought came to me that maybe you could contact Samaritans Purse who’s headquarters is in NC. I think in Boone. They have a lot of Christian organizations that donate a lot of money for disasters like this. Maybe they would be interested in a local company to build tiny homes for people going through disasters like this!
