35 MPH in a GOLF CART!? Teekon Motor Conversion Kit (Club Car Golf Carts)

Today in the shop we showcase our newest upgrade to our Club Car Golf Cart, the Teekon Motor Conversion Kit! This Teekon Motor Conversion Kit takes your stock club car golf cart and turns it into a BEAST! This Teekon kit allows us to hit about 35MPH with two people in the golf cart. In this video we showcase the Teekon app that comes with the kit that tracks all of your carts measurements, as well as just have a little fun with the new power our golf cart has!

what 48v battery pack will work best with this motor?

We used the UNO battery which worked well but UNO is not producing batteries at this time. ECO batteries are a great alternative option.

I have a 1999 Club Car DS IQ model and trying to understand if wiring this motor kit into this cart is even possible and if so how? Because I hear unless you have a precedent harness it won't work.

Do they still make the kit to convert the front wheels to 4x4?

Tylor - I believe renegade and a couple other companies make 4x4 conversion kits. Unfortunately we do not carry any kits at this time that we can recommend or get into your hands.

So 1 48v 90 ah battery . Going that fast you probably will get 15 miles on a full charge?

We have not yet done range test on this specific motor and controller combo with the Uno battery. There are several variables that can affect the range but with the previous copperhead high-performance motor got right around 25 mph. Again, this range would be different than the Teekon but I hope that gives you some information that is helpful!

Yes, this is an electric cart! 48V 2012 Club Car Precedent with a single UNO Lithium Ion 90Amp Hour battery (weighs approximately 50lbs) and a Teekon Motor and Controller Kit. The thing absolutely flies!
