How do you get the lens and the taking lens to focus so well? How did you know to modify the lens that certain way and do you have the specifications? Also, is there a diopter between the two lenses of the anamorphic? I have a T3i and some Nikkor lenses and I am trying to get this setup right. Any help, Thanks

hi! for anamorphic lens set to "infinity". On the lens the camera adjusts the focus. Using Life View. Between the lenses at a distance of 2-4 cm. olympus 45mm f/1.8 Lens has a focal length of 90mm equivalent on 35mm

+Péter Balogh Oh! Thank you for your question! But I'm not a good presenter :) I shot in fully automatic mode. On this picture sometimes "jumps". Impact of the work of the stabilizer. RAW processed in Adobe Lightroom. Video rendering in Vegas Pro 13.0 I think next time, I'll use fully manual mode. Александр Т Thanks for your answer, Alexander! :-) Wow, this setup looks sick! Doesn't the light got between the taking lens and the anamorphic lens? Or you got covered everything for blocking light? Something like as a matte box's lens donut could be useful in a setup like this. When you focused with the anamorphic lens, does the camera focused automaticly and well? I'm curious about a setup like this too, but dual focusing in real time, during a recording, could be a nightmare. :-)

+Péter Balogh Oh, Yes! This is a real hand-made! :) Between the lens and anamorphic attachment is present distance. For photos it's not a problem. Perhaps in the future it will close the black box. For anamorphic lens set to "infinity". The camera focuses without any problems. Sometimes there are errors focus. For video mode I think we should use manual mode. I have little experience with this lens. Need many experiments

Александр Т Well, you have a good camera and a nice lens to experiment with! :-) I'm curious if the E-M5II IBIS could stabilize a handheld setup with the anamorphic lens.. that could be awesome. :-)) (And that could make your arms really-really tired after a couple of minutes. :D )
